Pet Department Associate (Aquatics & Reptiles)
We’re seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the Pet Department, specializing in aquatics and reptiles! If you’re passionate about animals and thrive in a customer-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Position Details:
• Shifts:
• Sunday: 10 AM – 5 PM
• Wednesday: 9 AM – 2 PM
• Thursday: 10AM-6PM
• Friday: 10 AM – 2 PM
• Location: Lees feed - Shingle Springs
• Wage: Negotiable based on prior knowledge and experience
Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting with aquatics and reptile products
• Clean and maintain cages, aquariums, and habitats to ensure a healthy environment for animals
• Monitor animal health and report any concerns
• Assist with inventory and restocking supplies
• Educate customers on proper care for aquatic and reptile pets
Qualifications:
• Prior knowledge of aquatics and reptiles is a big plus
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
• Comfortable handling animals and performing cleaning tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work the listed shifts
• Passion for animal care and welfare
