Fall Paw Care 101 🍂

As the seasons change, your pup’s paws may need a little extra attention! Seasonal allergies can lead to extra licking, chewing or irritation, while cooler, drier weather can leave paw pads feeling dry or cracked.

Keep an eye on those paws, check them after outdoor play and use a dog-safe paw balm when they need a little extra moisture. A little fall paw care can go a long way!

Spooky season is here, so let’s clear up a few grooming myths we hear all the time!

👻 “Shaving makes hair grow back differently.” This one really depends on the dog! Every breed and coat is different, so it’s important to know what’s best for your pup’s specific coat. When in doubt, ask your groomer before making the cut.

👻 “Short-haired dogs don’t need grooming.” Short hair still needs some TLC! Regular baths, brushing, nail trims, and ear cleaning are all part of keeping your pup happy and healthy.

👻 “Dogs only need grooming when they look dirty.” Grooming isn’t just about keeping your dog looking fresh. It’s also about their skin, coat, nails, ears, and overall comfort.
