Pippen's Place

Pippen's Place Located outside the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex in Blue Ridge, TX, Pippen’s Place occupies 80+ acres which includes pastures, ponds, a creek, and wooded areas.

Pippen’s Place is home to longhorns, buffalo, cows, sheep, donkies, chickens, geese, horses, turkey, pigs, cats, and an alpaca. Monthly costs to provide for these animals remains high and your financial donations and support is invaluable. We have volunteer opportunities! Taco Bar is $25.00 per person with all proceeds going to Pippen's Place If you are lucky you might meet Carlos the Pigeon that was just rescued at Tio Carlos Irving-Las Colinas (He had flown into the window and is recovering from a sprained neck)

Well our new rescue dog Wilma, from Fort Worth Animal Care and Control Urgent Animal Network just ran outside and jumped straight into the pool. Thank goodness she can swim and before I got to the side of the pool she climbed out. Now she is all warm and cozy hiding out which it what she will do for a few days. She's eaten and has plenty of water Pippen's Place

Our plans for the farm this weekend
1. Getting last 4 animals moved
2. Getting house set up
3. Shrimp for lunch Saturday Salmon Sunday

Going to be a great weekend. Got a 50lb sample of hay replacement from Medalist for the senior horses to see how it works. Looks good but will need to soak it as the pellets are pretty large.
