It’s adoptions like this that make cat rescue all worth it in the end. This little girl was left abandoned on the side of the road with 5 nursing kittens. A little over a year old, emaciated and suffering from severe diarrhea, she was a dutiful mom. At one point we almost lost her but an emergency vet visit pulled her through.

Today she is healthy and thriving in her new home. Thank you to Rick Crowell for giving her the best life possible. She absolutely loves you and her greeter role at Empire Wireless, LLC in Sherburne. Thank you to everyone at Empire Wireless for welcoming her!

Two of our kitties got their forever home!!

At 6 weeks old, Izzy was brought to us along with her mom and 4 other nursing siblings. Since we started GFH Layne has an active role helping care for our cats and Izzy in particular took to him. We are so thrilled that she now has a permanent home with Layne.

Zoey is 8, she was found barely alive on the streets of Sherburne. We thought for sure the vet would recommend putting her down but that didn’t happen. And although homelessness left her with chronic breathing issues, she is fairly healthy today.

Once at the sanctuary, Zoey was a bit of an outcast with the other cats. Kash noticed that and took an immediate liking to her. Zoey has responded and never wanted to leave his side.

It’s winter days like these that I am thankful to those that help make this a warm, comfortable and safe place for homeless cats.

Currently home to thirteen cats and kittens. All our cats receive medical care, vaccines, spay, neutering and lots of love and attention.

If you love cats, interested in adopting a cat, would like to visit our sanctuary, have a fundraising idea or maybe you would like to be part of our team. I would love to hear from you.
