What an amazing hunt with my son JD on opening day! We waited all year for this day and everything worked out well. Had our deer on the ground by 9:30 AM. Two deer and 3/4 of a mile drag, it took us until 3 PM to get back to the truck! What a workout! Totally exhausted but my heart and soul feel full and content! Love hunting with my son❤️!

Tried to finish up all of my deer mounts, but they are coming in faster that I can mount them. This will probably be be the last mount that I can do for at least a week. Good luck to all the hunters out there tomorrow! Be safe and make memories.

After spending some time with my son hunting this morning and then taking in four deer heads from successful hunters, got a chance to finish up this mount for a waiting customer

A fantastic morning spent with my son JD in the Deerwoods. He put the hammer down on a nice eight point buck. First deer that he has shot with a bow in quite a few years. So glad to be a part of his special day. Blessed to have him in my life! ❤️

After working all morning, I finally made it to the Taxidermy shop to finish up this deer head. Then a little bit of physical labor cutting some firewood and then it was off to enjoy a scrumptious dinner with my honey at Hotel Solsville eating prime rib!
