💚 Volunteer Shoutout: Cathy Peters Forget 💚
From dog walks to dog fosters, Cathy Peters Forget has done it all — and then some!
Cathy first joined MSC several years ago as a dog walker and quickly became a familiar and dependable face around the shelter. She’s spent countless hours helping clean, organize, and support our team in whatever way is needed — but her impact goes even further.
She’s fostered some truly challenging pups and generously opens her home to give dogs much-needed furloughs during holidays or tough stretches in the shelter. That short break can make all the difference, and Cathy always steps up.
These days, Cathy plays a huge role in volunteer coordination — helping train new dog-walking volunteers and managing the walking calendar to make sure our pups get the love and exercise they need. Her support behind the scenes keeps things running smoothly, and we are so grateful for her time, patience, and dedication.
Thank you, Cathy, for being such a calm, steady, and compassionate presence. MSC is better because of you! 🐶💙
