We are looking to hire a dog bather!

Location: Complete Canine Care Center
Job Type: part time or full time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and hard-working Dog Bather to join our grooming team. In this role, you will be responsible for the first step of the grooming process — ensuring pets are clean, comfortable, and prepared for their grooming appointments. This is a hands-on position that requires a love for animals, physical stamina, and attention to cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Bathe dogs of all breeds and sizes using proper bathing techniques and products.

Dry and brush dogs thoroughly using high-velocity dryers and hand dryers.

Keep bathing and grooming areas clean and sanitized throughout the day.

Calm and handle dogs in a safe and caring manner, especially those who are nervous or fearful.

Assist groomers and other team members with pet handling and prep as needed.

Qualifications:
Previous experience working with dogs (pet care, shelter, grooming, vet office, etc.) is preferred but not required.

Must be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds.

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Patience, reliability, and a passion for working with animals.

Willingness to be trained in proper bathing and handling techniques.

Work Environment:
Fast-paced, team-oriented grooming salon or pet care facility.

Exposure to water, pet hair, cleaning products, and barking dogs.

May require some Saturday availability depending on scheduling needs.
