Happy 1st Birthday, Phoenix! 🎉
I can't believe its been a year since our Nix came into our lives. We very much miss his mother, Hallie, but know she's happy watching her boy grow. There have certainly been some challenges raising an orphan, but he is such a sweet playful boy. We're not fully sure of our plans for him, but for now he stays, continues to grow and be LOVED. This past weekend we snapped a few new pictures of our Percheron c**t, TLF Royal Heir (Lynden Northern Abraham X TLF May She Reign). He is one handsome boy, and he knows it. We have plans to show him a bit this summer. He will be weaned by early July, and ready to move on to a new home sometime in August. Recently, while we had some of the horses turned out, I caught this beautiful head shot of our Shire gelding, Trail-Light Ultimate Adventure, more affectionately know to most as Indy. While he did already have some mud splashed on him, I couldn't help but admire how stunning he is. Indy is a 2012 model by our previous herd stallion, Nigel, and out of Trail-Light Meggs. Not only is he a great driving horse for us, but we also use him to start all of our youngsters in harness, and he is well broke to ride. He is a regular at most of our public events. Look for him throughout the season at local parades and carriage rides.

This past Saturday we were at the Medina Recreation Center for their Touch-A-Truck event. We provided stagecoach rides. The Old Phoenix Stagecoach has a long history in the Medina area. For some, it was something new, but for many, it was a piece of nostalgia. Even with the cool damp weather, it was extremely well attended. This event was part of the America 250 Celebration. It was a great day.

Here is another gelding we have seeking a new place to call home. This is Trail-Light Hudson. He is a yearling Shire gelding (just gelded on April 20th), black with 4 white stockings and a blaze. He is registered with ASHA. He is sired by our stallion, Bell Ringer, and out of our mare, Undeniable Delight. He will make a nice pleasure prospect. Contact us if you would like more information.

We currently have some Shire geldings available. This past weekend we were able to get some new pictures of a couple of them all cleaned up. Follow our page as we add more to the list.
First up is Trail-Light Heston. He is a yearling gelding (just gelded on April 20th). He is black with 3 white stockings and a star/snip. He is registered with ASHA. He is by our stallion Bell Ringer, and out of our grey mare, Trail-Light Anastasia. Growthy with a lot a presence about him. Should make a lovely show or pleasure prospect.
