We currently have some of our young stock available and seeking new families. We likely will not have any Shire foals available next year. What an amazing night we had this past Saturday! We spent our evening at the Akron Civic Theater for their Masquerade Ball. We met some very interesting people, and saw some stunning costumes. Our Shire mares, Sadie and Annie were absolutely the best standing there on the sidewalk, greeting anyone that wanted to give them affection. We had many compliments on our costumes. A special thanks to Hale Farm for loaning me this funeral dress and veil. Everyone loved it!

Tonight we will be at the Akron Civic Theater. We will be there with a team of horses on a carriage just for a photo prop. This evening is their Masquerade Ball, and we will be out in front of the theater, decorated and in costume. If you are near the Akron area, stop by 7:30-9:30pm to get a picture with us.

While at Hale Farm this past Sunday, we started using a new horse. While he has been with us since very young, RVF Todnigel's Bell Ringer, made his debut appearance in harness. Our mare Annie is doing a great job showing him the ropes. We have been putting the time in at home, and he is really settling in to his new roll. Ringer will be seeing a few more events this season. However, this tall (18.2h), black, pleasing Shire gelding is also looking for a new partner. While he has been started lightly under saddle, he'll need more time. This past Sunday with finished our season with Hale Farm & Village, as the Harvest Festival came to a close. We always love this time of year, and the beauty that God puts in the things around us. As usual, all the guests and staff were great to visit with. There were both familiar and new faces. A special 'Thanks' to our help this season, Mary Muller and Robyn Becher. We hope to return in 2027.

Today is the day!!!

Today is our final day of the Hale Farm & Village Harvest Festival. It has been a beautiful event, all the way through. The color in the Cuyahoga Valley is stunning, and you shouldn't miss this opportunity to stop by the farm for the fall festivities. The morning is starting out a bit chilly, but dont let that keep you away, as it is looking to be a pleasant afternoon. Stop by for a wagon ride around the farm. We'll see you there.

Making the best of what you have...

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Hale Farm & Village for their 2nd weekend of Harvest Festival. While the forecast kept changing, and certainly wasn't always the best weather, we still had a lovely time. There were still plenty of guests that had the opportunity to enjoy a wagon ride. The fall colors are really starting to pop. We will be back up at Hale Farm next Sunday, October 18th, as part of their final weekend of the festival. We hope you will join us there.

The past two days we were at Hale Farm & Village for the first weekend of Harvest Festival. Always a great time, and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. Both Shire teams, Duncan & Annie and Desi & Sadie did a great job providing rides for so many wonderful people. Our big guy, Ringer, enjoyed all the attention in the pasture over at the village. We will be back at HFV next Sunday, for another day of wagon rides. Please come see all the fun things this event has to offer, and catch a ride with us.
