We love to highlight our team! Today's shining star is John Finch- Practice manager

How did you get into veterinary medicine? A TV commercial sucked me into the world of veterinary medicine.

What's your favorite part of working with animals? Fostering a safe environment and to build lifelong relationships.

What's your favorite animal (besides your own pets)? I have always wanted a Dalmatian, I think I watch too much TV.

What are your special skills or areas of expertise? I'm great at building and maintaining a culture of positivity and growth.

What makes you a unique member of the team? Well, I'm the tallest which helps to reach top shelf for medications or clean all the high surfaces :)

Do you have any pets? 3 cats and they are the best kitties ever!

Do you have any fun or quirky facts about yourself? I've always dreamed of being on a reality TV show.

Do you have a catchphrase related to animals or vet med? Bark, Bark. Meow!

Team Member Spotlight! Nathalie- Veterinary Assistant

How did you get into veterinary medicine? I first discovered my passion for animals while working at a pet store, where I learned how to care variety of species. It was there that I had my first experience treating sick animals including a juvenile bearded dragon who was malnourished and suffering metabolic bone disease. I dedicated my time nursing him back to health.

What's your favorite animal (besides your own pets)? All exotics! I have a special love for reptile, birds, and even saltwater fish. I'm fascinated by their diversity and unique care each species requires. Working with exotics always keeps me curious, learning and excited about what I do.

What are your special skills or areas of expertise? Professional Belly Rub Expert also singing to animals to help calm them down.

What makes you a unique member of the team? I am very helpful, passionate about caring for all species, and always willing to learn from my mistakes so I can grow and become better every day. I bring a positive attitude and strong commitment to both my team and my patients.

Do you have any pets? 4 total, Padres (Aussie Shep) 3 years old and can do 7-8 tricks. Kitty (DSH) 10 years old and very sweet and loves to play with Padres.
Hoshi (Netherland dwarf rabbit) 6 years old and he was my 1st pet. I've had him since 6-7 weeks old. He loves to explore and loves his bananas. Sunny D (leopard gecko) 6 years old and he is an escape artist who loves to hide in his hide hut and eat crickets and mealworms.

Do you have a fun fact or catchphrase related to animals or veterinary medicine? Caring for creatures big and small, one heartbeat at a time. 🐾
