Last but not least, we couldn’t forget about Trudy! So today she declares that it shall be known as “Tortie Thursday” aka “Trudy Thursday”.

Fun facts about Trudy -
📆 Age - she is turning 3 years old tomorrow! (September 4). We adopted her from Pinellas County Animal Services when she was a couple of months old. She was in a group of 4 foster kittens I had, and she was the last one left at the shelter for adoption. I went to visit her and she came home to live with us permanently. 🥰
🐱 Nickname - Boo boo
🧸 Favorite toy - she loves to play with springs! She will chase them around and carry them in her mouth.
🏥 Shortly after we adopted her, she started to develop ulcers in her eyes and couldn’t open them. After some investigation, we discovered that she has Feline Herpes. This manifests as eye ulcers, discharge, and runny/sneezy nose. She received treatment from an ophthalmologist, and has been in remission since. This medical condition is what inspired me to start .4paws
I needed to raise money for her treatment, and this was around the time I was learning to sew. I started creating cat toys and beds and it turned into something great! Now I try to give back to local shelters/pets as much as possible.
🐾 Trudy is a dilute/muted tortie. Instead of the classic black and dark orange, her coloring is gray and peach. She still has every bit of the “tortie-tude” lol
🐈 Favorite pastime - playing with springs, eating 😹

Not to be outdone by yesterday’s “Tabby Tuesday”, Walt has declared that today shall going forth be known as “Walt Wednesday” aka “Black Cat Wednesday”.

Some fun facts about Walter -
📆 Age - 4 years old. We adopted him when he was about 5 months old from Humane Society of Pinellas.
🐈‍⬛ Nickname - Walt, Baby Boy, Demon (because he’s so darn cute, but so bad sometimes lol 😂)
🧸 Favorite toy - he loves to play fetch with balls! He has a bunch of those small soft ones, and carries them in his mouth and brings them to us for fetch. I’ve found his toys in my shoes before, our clothing drawers, in the bed, etc etc lol
😸 Walt is probably the most emotional cat I’ve ever had! He’s very vocal with meowing, meow/yelling, little noises, and facial expressions. He’s scared of strangers, and is the least seen out of our 3 cats when anyone comes to our house.
🎃 I love Halloween, so I always buy anything cute I see with black cats and jack-o’-lanterns! Fall is his season to shine lol
🐾 Favorite pastime - playing fetch, raising hell.

Hank declares that since today is Tuesday and he is a tabby, it shall going forward be now known as “Tabby Tuesday”!

Some fun facts about Hank -
📆 Age - 5 years, we adopted him when he was 1 year from Pinellas County Animal Services.
🐱 Nickname - Hanky, Hanker, Big boy, big Hank, Handsome Hank, big beast, etc etc LOL 😹😹
🧸 Favorite toy - his purple lizard or catnip. (He’s my catnip tester whenever I am creating something)
🏥 He is a FIP survivor! A couple of months after we adopted him, he got sick and was diagnosed with FIP. We did the treatment for him, and after a lot of ups and downs, he was officially cured in 2023! He now weighs about 14 lbs, but when he was sick he weighed only about 7.5 lbs! 😔
🐱 He is a brown/black tabby. We think he might be mixed with some Bengal, because he has some pretty cool swirl and thick stripe markings. 😎
🌳 Favorite pastime - window watching (he loves to watch 🐿️, 🐰 and 🐦 ) napping, beating up his brother Walt. 🐈‍⬛

New item! Check out this handcrafted dog bed! I’ve been working on making some new things for the doggies, and this is one of them.

It can be used as a comfy cushion on the floor, a crate pad, or for a car ride. It’s plush, soft, and reversible! One of a kind and handmade. Measures approximately 36”x24”.

Hank is testing it out and agrees that it’s comfy for both dogs and cats. Though he prefers the catnip beds, he still thinks this one is cool, despite the dog print lol

It will be available at my next event at Gecko Fest in Gulfport on Saturday 9/5.

This summer I’ve been working hard on redesigning some of my marketing materials and booth display. I designed some new cards, banners, etc and I’m really happy with how they turned out. I think it’s more eye catching and joyful!

New look, same quality handcrafted pet items. Along with my signature catnip beds and catnip toys, I’m also working on introducing more things for dogs and some cute little things for humans.

Me update - I had PRK eye surgery on Monday, so today is the first day I’m attempting to do some things at the sewing machine. I still have a lot of dryness and some blurriness, but doing the best I can! The kitties still need their catnip toys! Lots of new catnip beds and toys in the making. 🐾

My first event after my summer break will be on Saturday 9/5 at the Gulfport Gecko fest.
