Our great friend GINI SHEVICK, from Pawsitive Effects, wrote this post about Ramona.......I am asking even if you don’t read this whole post, that you share it anyway, for ME!
This beautiful girl is named Ramona. She has spent over 2 years in boarding. She has been given the opportunity to be trained by a very incredible individual who took it upon herself to bring the best out in Ramona! Heather Shutt has devoted her own time during breaks from work to give Ramona the chance to know she’s not broken, defeated or forgotten. Through this bond, Ramona knows more tricks than most dogs will ever get and is learning real world skills so she can be in environments that don’t cause her to become overstimulated & distracted.
Ramona picks up on things quickly and with persistent training, rewarding and stimulation she will become one hell of a dog. Can you imagine how hard it must be to be boarded for 2 years plus without being “suitable” for most adopters. She is “suitable” for the right adopter with right home and deserves the chance to be the best she can be. This is not a story about finding the right dog for someone looking to adopt. It’s about finding the right adopter for Ramona!
Ramona wants to please and needs an adopter that she can admire with confidence, strength and endurance. Ramona will require to be the only dog and will want all the attention, and rightly so because there’s a lot an adopter needs to give her back. We just know there’s the right adopter out there! There’s is an adopter for every rescue but Ramona needs her adopter to show her they are dedicated to her well being for the rest of her life. Ramona is young, strong, smart, healthy and has so much energy making her a perfect fit for a very active and fit person that display’s confidence and can re-direct Ramona’s high endurance into to something positive. This is not a tall order….this is a requirement to take on the role of giving Ramona a life she not only deserves but a chance to show her she’s got what it takes to be loved and have a home to call her own.
You can see more of Heather’s training videos of Ramona on Sebring Angels page and Ramona is now accepting potential applicants that will require her stamp of approval. If you think you meet the requirements to have your very own RAMONA, then please contact Sebring Angels to set up a meet and greet.
Ramona is the whole package!
