These are the ducks and goose that started it all over a year ago! It was their mom's love and gratitude that melted my heart and the Duck Duck Goose Sanctuary was born. Sometimes life takes sharp turns and we are forced to make painful decisions like giving up your poultry pals. I'm happy we were able to make that decision more comforting for her and many others. To this day she is a part of our lives and always seems to show up when I need her most. Thank you Karen Merriam for everything you do for us💜 🥲

I've been been so busy lately that I absolutely forgot Ky's birthday.🤦🏻‍♀️ He turned 31 on June 11th. Ky is a Tennessee walker and has been with us since 2007. Missing birthdays happens with all these animals, but his is definitely is one I should never miss considering Only about 0.7% to 2.2% of the horse population lives past the age of 30. At his age all he really does is run up a good feed bill and judge me for being 5 mins late with his meals, but he's a good old man and will live out his days comfortable and stress free. So Happy late birthday old man💜💜

We are no longer accepting anymore intakes, we are at capacity financially. The feeders were a hit at first but it's slowed down alot which means I'm back out doing deliveries to cover feed and won't have time for new intakes. We are currently going through 50lbs of duck feed every 3 days and thats just the Duck Duck Goose Sanctuary which currently has 58 ducks, 5 geese and a swan. 💜 I know it's hot but mornings and evenings here are amazing! If it's light out it's never too early or too late for a visit!🥰 Contact me ahead of time to purchase larger portions of duck feed.

Loan and Ruby settling in nicely. Can't wait for them to experience the pond! Loan, Ruby and Tiky are bonding with all the youngins and will all be released into the flock together so it's less scary for all.💜
