Pawsitive Effects does so much to support pet rescues throughout Highlands County, including Heartland Pet Rescue. When you support them, you’re helping organizations like ours continue saving dogs and giving them the second chances they deserve. 🐶❤️

Never been to a quarter auction? Don’t worry! The flyer explains exactly how it works — and once you try it, you’ll see how simple and fun it is. Bring some quarters, pick up a paddle and you could go home with some great prizes!

🚗🐾 ROAD TRIP HELP NEEDED FOR LUNA! 🐾🚗

Our beautiful Luna, the Great Pyrenees, may have a wonderful forever home waiting for her in Northern Virginia! ❤️🏡

The family is very interested in adopting Luna, but there’s one big hurdle — transportation from Sebring, Florida to Virginia.

We’re hoping one of our amazing friends, supporters, or snowbirds might already be traveling north and could help Luna get part of the way!

🐾 Heading toward North Carolina?
🐾 Traveling anywhere north along the route?

Even getting Luna halfway would be a HUGE help. Her potential family is willing to meet and complete the rest of the trip.

You wouldn’t have to make a special 16-hour drive — we’re simply hoping to find someone who is already heading north and has room for one very special passenger. ❤️

Luna is a gorgeous 5-year-old Great Pyrenees who is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, house trained, and ready for her next chapter.

💰 There may be a way to help with gas/travel expenses — please don’t let the cost of helping be what stops you from reaching out.

Just look at that happy little face! 😍 Max is a 4-year-old Pomeranian mix with one of the sweetest, gentlest souls you could ever meet.

Max is an easy-going little guy who wants nothing more than to cuddle up close, climb into your lap, and be loved. He’s the kind of dog who makes you smile just by being near him. ❤️

🐾💙 MEET BANDIT — SMALL DOG, BIG PERSONALITY! 💙🐾

Bandit may only be about 20 pounds, but this adorable Terrier mix has enough personality to fill the whole house! 😍 He’s friendly, confident, and gets along great with other dogs — big or small!

Bandit is up-to-date on his shots, heartworm negative, and doing very well with house-training. He still needs to be neutered, and once that’s done, this sweet little guy will be ready for his forever home. 🏡❤️

He’s already fitting right into the Heartland pack. Now he just needs a family to call his own!
