Moyo’s final update! ❤️🎉
Back in March, Moyo was a young cat found in the bushes, unable to walk and clearly in severe pain. We believe he had been hit by a car and left behind. 💔
He had a broken femur in one leg and a broken hip in the other. He needed advanced orthopedic surgery right away to save his legs.
Thanks to your support, we were able to raise the funds for his lifesaving surgery. He was immediately rushed to Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital, where the amazing Dr. Christiansen performed surgery on Moyo.
Moyo did great during surgery and then spent the following weeks in foster care recovering and doing rehabilitation. His incredible foster family even invented their own physical therapy exercises on top of other exercises and worked with him every single day to help him regain his strength and mobility. They put so much time and love into him! ❤️
Moyo is a very people-oriented cat whose face lights up whenever someone enters the room. He absolutely loves attention, which probably made physical therapy a little easier! He’s playful, energetic, and has an incredible amount of determination.
Today, his mobility looks amazing. While he’ll still benefit from continued exercise and strengthening, he’s able to walk, climb, and even jump again. ❤️
And here’s even more amazing news! His surgeon adopted him! 🎉
From repairing his broken legs to giving him his forever family, Dr. Christiansen has been part of Moyo’s journey from the very beginning. We truly couldn’t imagine a happier ending for this special boy.❤️
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared his story, cheered him on, and helped make his recovery possible. Because of you, Moyo got the second chance he deserved.❤️🐾
