Donations are needed

Columbia Vet Hospital is currently in need of blanket donations 🙂

We appreciate blankets of all sizes, but unfortunately we can't using anything crocheted. (For sanitary reasons and because the kittys' nails get stuck.) Unwanted, used blankets and flat sheets can be dropped off in our lobby.

Thank you to everyone who has donated! We love to keep our patients cozy during their hospital stay.

Spring Has Sprung – We're Back and Ready to Pamper Your Pets!

Life looks a little different with a new little one, and as a result, our availability and some policies have changed. We appreciate your understanding and continued support!

Scheduling Policy: To be a serviced client, your pet(s) must be on a 4, 6, or 8-week schedule. This regular maintenance supports healthy skin and coat care for your furry friend.

Appointment Times: All grooming appointments will take place between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to accommodate breastfeeding needs. Thank you for your patience as we adapt to our new rhythm.

Service Area Availability:

Cannon Beach: Tuesdays

Seaside/Gearhart: Wednesdays

Warrenton/Hammond: Thursdays

Astoria: Fridays

Thank You to Our Loyal Clients: As a heartfelt thank you for your ongoing support, we will not increase prices in 2025. We know times are "ruff," and we want to honor your commitment to our small business. Pricing will be adjusted starting January 1, 2026.

Please be patient as we get rolling again. Appointment availability may be slightly further out than usual, but we’re committed to honoring each pet’s individual needs.

New Clients: We are accepting new clients, with appointments beginning June 1 to ensure our existing clients are prioritized.
We offer an all-inclusive package at $85/hour.

We have been getting alot of phone calls for this pawliday season.

As heartbroken as I am to not be pampering pets right now its what my medical team has advised.

Just a reminder we are currently closed for maternity leave until spring 2025.

We still are collecting donations for Clatsop Animal Assistance and will drop off all collected donations before Christmas.

Following careful consideration, my medical team has advised me to discontinue all spaw services and focus on ensuring the health and well-being of both myself and my baby. Due to my pre-existing injuries and medical conditions, entering my third trimester has provided some unique challenges.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause my clients. I will deeply miss working with all of my furry friends and look forward to resuming my services in the future.

I will be in touch with everyone in March to schedule appointments for late March and early April.

DECEMBER APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

I have hit the spot in my pregnancy where I am very uncomfortable and my body isn't handling full spaw days well anymore. Some of the horrid pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness are back with full force which will be pushing all start times for appointments to 11 am. This will allow me to hopefully manage some of the nausea.

Hooking up the trailer and dropping it has become way to taxing on my body to continue doing this. I'm also super struggling with our bigger furry friends as my body isn't as limber to accommodate their needs.

I'd like to still groom your furry friends but ALL DECEMBER APPOINTMENTS WILL NOT BE MOBILE AND WILL BE TENTATIVE. Unfortunately, this will require you to bring your furry friends to me.

I will be reaching out ASAP to redo the DECEMBER schedule with all appointments being tentative while I navigate the 8/9th month of my pregnancy. Bigger dogs will be booked on Fridays when I have a helper!

I appologize for any inconvenience this may cause all my amazing clients. I also will have to cancel some appointments based on my medical needs as discussed with my medical team. I will be estatic to see all those furry faces when i return mid march/early april.

Also unfortunately at this time we are not accepting any new clients until we return in the spring.

Were excited to be teaming up with Clatsop Animal Assistance again this year.

Tis the season for gratitude and gifting. Let's help these shelter pets feel santa paws magick this winter.

Also remember you can always volunteer your time! Shelter pets absolutely love any excuse to get out. It also helps them become more adoptable.

I will happily gather any items you want to donate at your pets next appointment! Not a client but wanting to donate? No problem! I will coordinate a Saturday pick up with you! Collections end on December 24th, but you can always drop off supplies in person during operating hours.
