Foothills Animal Rescue is a cage-free, adoption-guaranteed rescue located in the heart of Scottsdale. We are dedicated to saving lives through the rescue, care and adoption of homeless cats and dogs.

Meet jovial Jack! This 8-year-old boy is in need of his furever home!

This stunning dilute tuxedo came to us with his bff Jillian when their owner became ill and could no longer take care of them.
It would be wonderful if they could find a home together (both of their adoption fees have been sponsored).

Jack is shy at first, but when he's comfortable, he will welcome gentle affection.
He also had a recent dental, so he's even more handsome than ever!

Jack is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Mondays and Tuesdays, adoptions are by appointment only.
Wednesdays through Sundays adoptions are open to the public 11am-3pm.

🎉 17 Adoptions this week! We’re celebrating 6 dogs and 11 cats who found their forever homes — including all of our puppies AND two of our beloved seniors, Crystal and Tizzy! 🐶💛
It fills our hearts to see families welcoming both the young and the young-at-heart into their homes. And with kitten season in full swing, we’re especially excited to see so many adorable kittens heading off to new adventures! 🐱
To everyone who adopted, supported, volunteered, or simply shared our animals — thank you. Your kindness helps make these happy endings possible.

Meet gentle Jillian! This stunning 15-year-old girl is in need of her furever home! Jillian and her brother Jack (also up for adoption, and Jillian would love to find a home with him) were surrendered to FAR due to their owner's illness.

Jillian may be a senior, but she loves to play with string toys and give gentle head butts!

Psst ... Jillian may be a long-haired Turkish Van! These cats are known for their sweetness, intelligence, and love of water!

Check out her floofy tail! She loves to strut around her room showing it off!

Jillian is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Her adoption fee has been sponsored!

🎉14 adoptions this past week — 3 dogs and 11 cats found their forever homes! 💛 Thank you to every adopter who opened their heart and gave one of our pets a second chance. These happy endings are only possible because of you.

While we’re celebrating these adoptions, we also want to shine a light on a few furry friends who are still waiting. Milo, Russell, Cinco and Lilly have each been in our care for over 150 days — and we know their perfect families are out there. Please help us spread the word about these long-timers and all the pets still waiting to be loved. Your share could be the one that finally brings them home.🐾💫
