🇺🇸🐾 Happy Labor Day Weekend from Tails ‘N Tangles! 🐾🇺🇸

The clippers are OFF, the shop is CLOSED, and this groomer is officially clocked out for the long weekend! ✂️🐶🙌

I’ll be spending the weekend enjoying some much-needed time with my family, so all calls, texts, and messages will be answered when I’m back in the shop on Tuesday! ❤️

In the meantime, I’ll leave you with some adorable freshly groomed faces to enjoy! 🥰🐾 Because really…what’s better than a feed full of cute pups?! 🐶📸

🔒 A Little Update from Tails ‘N Tangles 🐾

You may notice a new “Grooming in Progress” sign on my door and that the door will be locked while I am working with a pup.

This is simply an added safety measure to help protect every pup while they are in my care. ❤️

Some dogs can be nervous, easily distracted, reactive to other dogs, or simply do best in the quiet, one-on-one environment that I try to provide. An unexpected person entering the salon can easily startle a dog—especially when I may be working around their face, feet, or other sensitive areas with scissors or clippers.

Keeping the door locked during grooming allows me to keep my full attention on the pup in front of me and helps maintain a calm, controlled and safe environment. 🐶✂️

If you arrive for your scheduled appointment and the door is locked, don’t worry! I may simply be finishing up with another pup. Please send me a text or wait for me to come to the door, and I’ll be with you as soon as I can safely step away.

I absolutely love welcoming my clients into Tails ‘N Tangles, and this isn’t meant to make the salon feel any less welcoming. ❤️ It’s just one more little step I can take to make your pup’s safety and comfort my top priority.

🐾 Meet Murphy — Tails ‘N Tangles’ September Pup of the Month! 🐾

We’re so excited to celebrate Murphy, also known as “Smurphy” and “Murph the Smurf”! 💙

Murphy is a 5-year-old mixed breed pup who is loyal, loving, protective, and oh-so-smart. His birthday is October 16th — and the sweetest part is that he shares his birthday with his mom! 🥹❤️ His family says he was the best thing they ever bought off Craigslist!

A few fun facts about Murphy:

🐾 Favorite treat: Mother Hubbard treats
🧸 Favorite toy: His Smucker toy
🎾 Favorite activity: Playing fetch with his Spunky Puppy Frisbee
🥜 Favorite human snacks: Fruit and peanut butter
❤️ Best friends: His human dad and his furry friend, Max
🚗 Favorite things to do: Ride in the car, go to the lake, hunt for moles in the yard, and visit Grandma & Pap’s house
🛏️ Silly habit: Murphy always sleeps with Mom at night and can often be found snuggled underneath the blankets!

If Murphy had a job, he’d definitely be a security guard. 🕵️‍♂️🐾 And the song that fits him best? “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen. ❤️

Even though Murphy is starting to get a little gray, his family says he’s still a young pup at heart — and we completely agree! 🥰

Congratulations, Murphy, on being our September Pup of the Month! We love having you as part of the Tails ‘N Tangles family! 💙🐾

☀️🐾 Summer, you’ve been fun… but FALL is calling! 🍂🎃

We’re squeezing in the last of those summer vibes at Tails ‘N Tangles with some seriously adorable freshly groomed faces! 🐶💕☀️

Buttttt… I may or may not already have pumpkins, leaves & cozy fall vibes on the brain. 😂🍁🎃

These pups are finishing out summer looking fresh, fluffy & fabulous… and pretty soon we’ll be switching things up for some SUPER cute fall photo shoots! 📸🐾🍂

💙💛 A little non-dog-related post! 💛💙

As many of you know, Eli joined the Knoch Marching Knights this year, and he is currently selling beautiful fall flowers from Gumto Greenhouses! 🌼

This fundraiser helps Eli earn money toward his individual band account, which can be used for things he needs for marching band as well as helping with the cost of band trips and other experiences throughout the year. 🎶🥁

I figured I would share here just in case any of my Tails ’N Tangles families are looking for some fall mums, pansies, or kale and would like to support him at the same time. Absolutely no pressure whatsoever! 💙

Orders are due September 4th and will be delivered September 24th.
