🎉 Long Timer Placement! 🎉

On March 24th, 2026, Dodger was brought into CCAS. Once on our adoption floor, Dodger began his search for a new forever family. Days turned to weeks, and then weeks to months. As time went on, Dodger began to show signs of stress in the kennel, sending alarm bells ringing for staff. Knowing this, volunteers made a social media posts online as a last resort to help spread the word about Dodger - and it did not disappoint!

Yesterday, after 70 days of being in the shelter, Dodger was taken into his new foster home with help of GRRR! This rescue, CCAS volunteers and his new foster helped continue his story, and for that we are forever grateful. We wish you both the best! 💖

Here's to old man Dodger! 🥂 Have a great life little man!

We at CCAS wanted to give a shout-out to our local rescues that help us day in and day out. Whether it's establishing foster families or taking our pets into their care, the rescues in our community go above and beyond to help our shelter animals. This saves lives - and for that, we are EXTREMELY grateful! 💖
