Izzi loves her stuffies! She brought her narawal to WSAV News 3 On Your Side 🐾💜

Izzi has dealt with a lot of changes in her life, causing her to be a bit wary of new people. Once she gets past the first meeting jitters, she melts into the sweetest girl who just wants to be your best friend. Izzi can also be nervous when meeting new dogs, but does well with dogs that are her size or smaller once she gets to know them.

In her foster home, she lives with five other dogs of various sizes, but has one who is her play buddy (she mostly ignores the rest). She is protective of her food and will grumble at other pups if they come too close while she’s eating. Izzi would probably become her best self as the only dog or with one other dog in the home who likes to play. She loves to be outside watching the squirrels, but her favorite place is next to you on the couch with her head in your lap. Izzi does great on a leash and loves her walks. She is housebroken, crate trained, and rides well in a car.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, we will not be able to bring any of our adoptable dogs or cats to With Love Tattoo today. They will still be tattooing until 8:00 p.m. with a portion of the proceeds from some of their flash designs benefitting Coastal Pet Rescue, so make sure you go see them!

We hope to be back there in the near future!

Elizabeth is very passionate about 🐿! and is 🥜 about finding a forever family 💜

Elizabeth was adopted from CPR as a puppy in 2019 but circumstances found her at a shelter in Virginia last spring. She's been back with us for over a year now and is so ready for her forever home. Elizabeth is house trained and crate trained (she will bark at first but soon settles down).

Her hobbies are looking out the windows for ne'er do wells (mail carriers, squirrels, delivery trucks),lounging on the sofa, belly rubs, snacks, walks and car rides. She loves to chase squirrels up a tree and can jump about 6 feet up the trunk. A high fenced in yard would be best for her. She also would appreciate a doggy door because she loves to go outside, and come back in, and then quickly go back out because SQUIRREL!

Elizabeth gets along great with the dogs in her foster home. She has even learned to coexist with the cats.

Look at that face! Sweet Leia is looking for
her forever family 💜

Play Hard/Cuddle Hard was a dog motto, Leia could be the poster dog! This girl is a bundle of love and joy! Whether it's adults or children, she is always overflowing with an abundance of love and happiness to share with others.

Leia is a happy girl who is active and energetic, but also knows how to chill out. However, she is dog selective. She gets along with the other dogs in her foster home but can be reactive if not introduced slowly. She tends to be resource protective of toys and plays pretty assertively with the other dogs. A single dog home would probably be best for Leia. She tends to ignore the cats in her foster home, so cats are fine.

She loves toys, especially jolly balls and things that squeak. Her playfulness is quite appealing! A fenced yard is a must for this active girl. Leia would be a great forever friend for a family with older children (she can be too exuberant for the littles), or someone who would like to have her for a running partner. Wait, you like to lounge on the couch and binge Netflix for hours? Awesome! So does Leia!

Leia loves snuggling and having her belly rubbed. She is house trained and crate trained, though her foster family leaves her out in the house when they leave without any problems. And she'd love to sleep with you if given the chance. If you're looking for a lifetime companion and BFF, submit your application to meet Leia!

All dressed up and nowhere to go?! Paco2 is ready for his forever family! 💜 A sweet song from the fellow himself 🎶

“Hello my name is Paco2 because they tell me there is another dog named Paco in the rescue. I came to CPR because my former owners could no longer care for me and my two siblings. My foster mom says I am a good boy who loves all humans. Though I get along with my foster dog brother some times I would do better as an only dog and no cats for me. I am small, around 11 lbs., so I would do better in a home with older kids. I walk well on a leash but would love a secure yard to run around in and explore. I am house trained and know how to use a dog door. I don’t like being left alone so I will bark for a few minutes but I settle down. I love to cuddle with my human on the couch or in bed. If you are looking for a little cuddle buddy come meet me!”

Earlier this month, The Tybee Art Gallery wanted a way to honor the passing of their unofficial shoppes greeter, Joey, beloved dog of Seaside Sisters' Susan Kelleher. They collected funds and brought them to us. Thank you all so much for choosing us to honor his legacy.

He’s as smooth on a leash as he is sweet with other dogs, making him the perfect companion for strolls, snuggles, and spontaneous treat breaks. With those gooey, melt-your-heart brown eyes, Mousse is impossible to resist—he’s basically the pup version of your favorite dessert: comforting, joyful, and sweet.
