Check out how amazing the play area at our Ozaukee Campus looks after the hard work and dedication of Gunnar, who chose us as the recipient of his Eagle Scout Project!
With the help and generosity of Hoppe Tree Service, Grace Lutheran Church, and the 840 Boy Scout Troop, he not only updated our outdoor dog area, but also collected much-needed items for the shelter! It's incredibly important to keep spirits high and illness low in the shelter environment, and these new tools will help us do just that.

⭐ Fridays: 11am-5pm
⭐ Saturdays: 10:30am-5pm

It's hard to believe little Titan survived such a terrifying run-in with razor wire. Thankfully, someone found him and managed to remove a section of the wire so they could bring him in for emergency care. Once at WHS, the 3-month-old went straight into surgery to delicately extract the sharp metal, close the wound, and treat another laceration on his front leg. It's now been a week since his procedure, and you'd never know what this little guy has been through. He's still got more recovery time ahead of him, but is already back to being the sweet, playful, curious kitten he was before this awful incident. ❤️

Adoption update! 🏠❤️😻😸
"These litter mates have come a long way. They reunited with each other exactly how two boys would. As if they could care less.
Puma gets under the covers at bedtime and purrs loudly while rubbing his face on me and kneading. A very loving boy. Fudge is a Daddy’s boy. But he always tells me what he needs or what’s wrong. (A big tattle-tale on his brother). The patience has paid off." Aimee G.
