...happy pets, happy Fourth — curb the chaos before it starts for your cats and dogs...🇺🇸

🐾 🎾 Provide your pets with exercise, games, and stimulation PRIOR to the evening and fireworks which can make them less sensitive to noise, helping to prevent stress later.

🐾🏠 Keep your pets inside and eliminate escape routes!

🐾 🦴Establish a safe, fun, and comfy zone in your home that they already love, and can be secured.

🐾 🌟 Make it awesome! Provide bedding, food, water, high value treats, toys, games, and activities. Throw yourself in the mix!

🐾📻 Drown out the noise! Play familiar music and soothing sounds.

🐾 ☀️ If your pet must go outside, supervise them, and limit it to enclosed areas like a yard, patio, or a secure balcony.

🐾 🐕‍🦺 If your dog will will be out with you, keep your dog secure and closer to you on a short leash. ID tag should be attached to them, with microchip up-to-date, and use reflective dog walking equipment so that they are more visible at night.

🐾 🚫 Avoid hazards! Supervise them around food, alcohol, barbecue grills, and clear the area of any food scraps and debris.

🐾 🆘 If they escape, act fast! Report your pet missing to your local animal control, send out alerts on social media, post flyers around the neighborhood, and contact neighbors, friends, and family.

🐾 🚗 Search outside of your home or in the area that they were last located. Small pets and cats don't go far, while dogs can venture long distances.

Spring into our $5 Community Dog Training Classes this Saturday, and ongoing in Santa Monica! All proceeds are donated to our partner, CAMP (Community Animal Medicine Project) who are providing free veterinary services to wildfire victims, and low cost vet services to the community!

🐕‍🦺💰 Class fee is $5 dollars, then Pay-What-You-Can after that. Please consider paying as much as you can to help maximize our initiative to help wildfire victims.

It is with deep sorrow that we share that one of our bright lights in our dog walking family is now guarding the gates of Heaven. Bentley joined our family in 2017. Rain or shine, handsome and kind, he always brought the sun and fun, and never ceased to be generous with his love. And when he moved away with his family one day, his imprint on our hearts remained. While some will say his time on this earth was a long 15 years, to us, it was still too soon. To know this perfect gentleman is to have experienced much wealth and privilege. While we mourn, it brings us peace to know we have only to dream to see him again. So off to his next big adventure with the Angels he goes, undoubtedly earning his wings pronto, we know! May you rest, oh sweet friend of ours. ❤️🪽
