Hi, I’m Dr. Victoria Ryan.
I’m the veterinarian behind Sol Veterinary Hospice & Euthanasia.
I created Sol because I believe every family deserves the opportunity to say goodbye in a way that feels peaceful, unrushed, and filled with love.
One of the greatest privileges of being a veterinarian is not only helping animals live well, but also helping them leave this world peacefully, surrounded by the people who love them most. While I can’t change the fact that our time with our pets is never long enough, I hope I can make those final moments a little gentler.
Whether you’re caring for a gray-faced senior, navigating a difficult diagnosis, or simply here because your pets mean the world to you, I’m so glad you’re here.
Through this page, I hope to share guidance on hospice care, quality of life, senior pet wellness, and what families can expect during one of life’s hardest decisions. My hope is that you’ll find education, support, and reassurance whenever you need it.
