Armani has always dreamed of working with animals ever since he could remember. He knew that his future and career would involve helping animals in any way he could. Armani began working in the veterinary field in 2020 and has loved it ever since. He plans to further pursue his career in veterinary medicine while working on his music on the side. In his spare time, he loves watching movies, playing video games, making music and going to Disneyland. His favorite movie is The Little Mermaid and Jennifer’s Body.

Frankie was born and raised in Santa Barbara, she grew up loving animals and knew her career path would always be something involving that, after working at a local doggy daycare she then pursued a career at a local veterinary hospital where she became passionate about working in an emergency setting. She has two dogs of her own and on her free time she enjoys taking them to the beach and hiking!

Meet our staff 🐱

Claire was born out of state but raised in Santa Barbara, CA. She attended Dos Pueblos High School and then went on to complete the EMT program through Santa Barbara City College. While going to school, Claire spent several hours volunteering with the Santa Barbara Humane Society, and from there decided she wanted to pursue working in veterinary medicine. Claire now works at two veterinary Hospitals in the area, and she currently lives in Santa Barbara with her cat, Juniper, and her dog, Gunner. She also continues to find volunteer opportunities with animals in her spare time, and is hoping to continue her education in Veterinary Medicine.

A native of Chicago, Annette is a recent transplant to Santa Barbara after spending the last decade in the Southeast.
Her love for animals started at a young age, and her passion steered her into the veterinary field where she has been a Veterinary Technician for the last 9 years. Annette prides herself on loving and treating each animal as if they were one of her own, and brings a compassionate and experienced skillset to Urgent Veterinary Care of Santa Barbara. In her spare time Annette enjoys singing, traveling the world, and spending time with her husband and fur babies.

It’s foxtail season! ☀️ These little guys most commonly get into dog noses, ears, and paws. Avoid areas that are foxtail dense between April and September. If they get into your dogs fur be sure to remove them as they can migrate into their skin easily!

Did you know many lilies are extremely toxic to cats??! Lilies cause kidney injury in cats which can lead to death. Many cats brush up against the pollen and groom it off. Even the pollen is extremely toxic therefore it’s best not to have lilies in your house if you have cats!
If you are concerned your cat may have ingested any part of a lily please call us or the pet poison helpline today!
