Patient of the day: Barbie! 💞

Barbie came in for squinting and was diagnosed with a corneal ulcer (likely from running through some bushes). She was sent home with medications and we are wishing her a speedy recovery!!! ❤️‍🩹

One amazing year of UVC opening!! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, be cautious with having lilies around your home if you have cats.
Lilies can be very toxic and at times fatal if the pollen is on their fur and the cat licks it off, if the flower and or leaf is consumed, even if they drink out of the vase where the flowers were. It can be fatal within 72 hours, if you have lilies present in your home and your cat starts showing symptoms of vomiting, drooling, lethargy go to a vet asap. 🐱🐾💐

Dr. Crawford and Luna! Luna initially presented to UVC for a pyometra which is a serious and life threatening infection of the uterus. After a few hours of a successful surgery Dr. Crawford and the UVC team were able to get her back home and healthy with her family 🐶❤️
