Two dogs in San Jose, one in Oakland are already up for adoption after returning to the Bay Area in recent weeks.

This is Trouble, one of 6 dogs(4 puppies, 2 adults) we transported for a gentleman, currently living in his vehicle to get fixed, chipped, and vaccinated last month. Trouble is a small terrier mix less than 10 pounds around six months old. Unfortunately, Trouble went missing yesterday. His microchip is registered and our phone number is listed as a primary. Double duty on Saturday, 10 AM to 2 PM we’ll be at City of San José Animal Care and Services w/ coffeecompanions_coffee for their 5th anniversary celebration. Then 2 PM to 9 PM we’re at Discovery Meadow w/ San José Foos 2 opportunities to pick up some DOGS ARE DOPE gear and support the movement.

Jacqueline is looking for a foster/adopter…

One of the pups that came back from Miranda‘s “rescue” last week is available for foster/adoption today. Here are some pics from a doggy day out from before she went to Miranda‘s. She did not have any behavior issues. She was simply sent there because they thought it was a better option for her. Obviously we know different now. She was described as sweet and affectionate. Please spread the word. This girl deserves the kind of love Oliver is getting right now on his sleepover.

Hooking up these pups is the best part of the job. Plus this is how we make connections and eventually get these dogs/cats fixed.

UPDATE: SJAC DOGS RETURN FROM MIRANDA’S “RESCUE”

All 4 San Jose Animal Care Center dogs from Miranda‘s “Rescue“ are now back at the shelter. Two dogs, Jacqueline and Chipmunk, are ready for foster/adoption. The other two, Porkchop and Ra remain listed as rescue only. SJAC will continue to look for an organization willing and able to take on these two dogs. In the meantime, we will focus on the two who are ready to go.

As soon as Oliver‘s adoption is official, we will focus on getting Jacqueline and Chipmunk out into the world. Both as a way to connect them with potential adopters and to alleviate the kennel stress that comes from two months in an environment like Miranda‘s “Rescue“. These two pups have been through a lot and deserve all the best moving forward. Let’s make sure they find the loving homes they deserve.
