🐾 Your cute pups are still under construction! 🦴

Yesterday’s Puppy Preschool class learned about the difference between puppy and adult bone structure. Check out that x-ray! The extra space between the bones helps explain why puppies are so floppy and wiggly.

Their ligaments and tendons still need to tighten, their bones have not fully ossified, their muscles are still developing, and their growth plates are soft and vulnerable.

We build our classes around your puppy’s stage of growth so they can learn and play safely.

🎆 Fireworks are fun for us — but not always for our pups! With the 4th of July just around the corner, now’s the time to stock up on calming enrichment like lick mats, puzzle toys, and long-lasting chews. These tools help keep your dog’s brain busy and body relaxed when the booms begin. 🧠🐾

Here are a few quick safety tips to help your pup feel secure:
✅ Keep them indoors during fireworks
✅ Make sure ID tags and microchips are up to date
✅ Close windows and turn on calming music or white noise
✅ Use enrichment to help your dog focus on something fun to feel safe
✅ Never force your dog to “face their fear” — comfort is OK!
