This is Tucker. 🐾

Tucker took a fall that left him with an unexpected hip injury on top of already unstable hips. By the time he came in for his first session, he was tight, uncomfortable, and moving like it.

After one 45-minute massage, his limp was gone.

After his second session, he was navigating the stairs in his backyard on his own again.

Now Tucker comes in regularly for maintenance to keep his hips limber and his aging body feeling as young as his mentality. Because if you've met Tucker, you know his spirit did not get the memo that he's a senior dog.

Some dogs walk in like they own the place and are asleep in 3 minutes flat. Others need the whole 45 minutes just to decide they trust me. Both are completely valid.

The big ones are always the babies. I've had dogs the size of a small horse turn into complete puddles the second I find their spot. Meanwhile the tiny ones come in ready to fight.

They always tell you where it hurts. Not with words obviously, but dogs are incredibly honest with their bodies. A flinch, a shift, a sudden side eye — they show you exactly what needs attention if you know what to look for.

The ones who needed it most fight it the hardest at first. A dog that's been uncomfortable for a long time sometimes doesn't know what to do when something finally feels good. Watching them figure out how to relax is honestly one of my favorite parts of this job.

They leave different than they came in. Every single time. And that never gets old.

Every new client starts with a free evaluation. We'll talk through your dog's health history, any areas of concern, and what you've been noticing at home before we ever get started. No guessing, no surprises.

Here's what we recommend:
First time? Start with a 30-minute session. It gives us time to assess your dog, work through the areas holding the most tension, and see how they respond.
Have a senior dog or one recovering from surgery? The 45-minute session gives us more time to work through everything properly.

Meet Joy 👋🏽

She's the heart behind every session at Massage 4 Paws, and we love her for it.
Joy is a Licensed Massage Therapist with 13+ years of experience in therapeutic massage and recovery work for humans, which means she brings a real understanding of muscle structure, tension, and how the body heals to every session she does.

In June 2025, she got certified in canine massage therapy and it felt like the perfect next step. Same passion for healing, just extended to a whole new (very fluffy) clientele. 🐾

She works with dogs navigating all kinds of things, from aging and injury recovery to mobility issues and chronic tension, always with the same goal in mind: help them move a little easier and feel a whole lot better.

Outside of the massage table, Joy loves hunting down new music and DJing as a creative outlet. Music and massage aren't that different when you think about it, both are about connection and bringing good energy to the people around you. 🎶

Most dogs don't show pain the way we expect them to. They don't cry or complain. They just... compensate. And over time that tension builds up in ways we miss.

Here are some signs your dog might be carrying more than you realize:
➡️Stiffness after resting or sleeping
➡️Slower on walks than they used to be
➡️Flinching or pulling away when touched in certain spots
➡️Grumpy or snappy out of nowhere
