Seeing all the incredible dogs in their ZOO BOO! costumes is going to be so much fun!!! 🐾🎃

With all the sights, sounds, excitement, and other animals, safety first! If you're taking your dog out to a high-excitement, high-distraction event like this, please make sure they are well-trained and comfortable around crowds, strange noises, and other animals. It doesn't have to be scary to go places with your pup.

Mark your calendar for Dog Day at San Antonio Zoo on Sunday, October 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m during ZOO BOO!, Presented by PNC!

Treat your pup to a day of adventure, enrichment, and fun. To kick things off, the first 150 dogs through the gate will receive a complimentary fall-themed bandana!

Throughout the day, your four-legged friend can enjoy exciting activities designed just for them while you take in the zoo’s incredible sights and experiences. From music and costumes to trick-or-treating and adoption opportunities, Dog Day offers something for every animal lover.

Paws for Big Hearts Adoptions | 9 a.m.–5 p.m. | Zootennial Plaza
DJ Mayhem | 10 a.m.–2 p.m. | Great Lawn
Doggy Costume Contest | 11 a.m.–12 p.m. | Great Lawn
Dog Trick-or-Treating | 1 p.m.–2 p.m. | Go Wild!
Human Trick-or-Treating | 4 p.m.–5 p.m.

To participate, purchase a $27.99 Dog Day Ticket for each dog, along with regular zoo admission (or use your Membership for entry).
