🚨‼️ OUR VOICES ARE BEING HEARD, BUT WE CANNOT STOP NOW! ‼️🚨
We must continue to speak up, raise awareness, and demand JUSTICE FOR PSYDUCK! 💔🐾
Psyduck can no longer speak for himself, so WE WILL BE HIS VOICE! We will not back down, we will not be silenced, and we will continue fighting until Noelle Holly is held accountable and justice is served!
NO MORE SILENCE! NO MORE EXCUSES! NO MORE ANIMAL CRUELTY!
🐾 JUSTICE FOR PSYDUCK! 🐾
16 POUNDS AND SUFFERING. He fought until he knew he was safe. Now Psyduck is gone.
Wilson County, Texas - Covered in fleas. Almost no muscle left on his body. His ribs, spine and bones painfully visible. A dog named Psyduck, so severely emaciated that rescuers were desperately trying to keep him alive. They say he fought until he finally knew he was safe. Then he let go.
Psyduck weighed just 16.5 pounds when he died. According to Destiny VanZandt of Bluu's Cluu's Texas Street Rescue, he had been kept in a trailer filled with trash. She described a dog whose body had wasted away, with nearly every bone visible. The photographs are heartbreaking. Imagine what Psyduck endured before he finally received medical attention.
Destiny VanZandt and Candida Campos of Bee Pawsitive Animal Rescue worked to get Psyduck the emergency veterinary care he desperately needed. He was rushed to Thrive Emergency Hospital, where veterinary staff fought to save him. Rescuers sought support for a blood transfusion, hoping to give him a chance. But his body was already in critical condition. Despite those efforts, Psyduck died.
According to preliminary medical information shared by VanZandt, Psyduck's death was attributed to malnourishment-related failure, with a secondary condition described as CPA. Those findings are not final. A full necropsy has reportedly been ordered to determine more precisely what caused his death.
Now, serious questions surround Noelle Holly, the woman rescuers identify as having cared for Psyduck before they became involved. VanZandt says evidence collected includes text messages, photographs, video and microchip information. According to the rescue's account, the microchip led to a former owner who said Psyduck had been given to Holly. Rescuers say Holly later reached out for help.
How did Psyduck become so severely emaciated? How long had his body been deteriorating? And why wasn't veterinary care obtained before he reached such a critical condition?
The Wilson County Sheriff's Office is now involved. A deputy has taken a report, and an investigator has requested full written statements from witnesses. According to VanZandt, investigators also intervened to stop Psyduck's cremation so a necropsy could be performed. Those results could take weeks.
We want official answers about Psyduck's death and the investigation. No arrest, criminal charge or warrant has been independently confirmed. The allegations involving Holly have not been established in court, and we have not obtained her response.
Psyduck couldn't tell anyone how much he was suffering. But his condition was documented. Destiny VanZandt and Candida Campos stepped in. Veterinary staff tried to save him. And now investigators have an opportunity to establish what happened before help finally arrived.
He fought until he was safe, according to the rescuers. And then Psyduck was gone.
