Peppa came to us with 5 puppies that were only 4 weeks old. 3 of the puppies were a deep, rich chocolate color and were adopted as soon as they were old enough to be vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Momma Peppa and her two black babies were left behind. They have been with the rescue for almost a year. Peppa is such a sweet girl. She loves everyone she meets! The boys Dan and Bill are shy around strangers because they have never known anyone outside the rescue. They are looking for someone who is willing to look past their color and give them a chance to live the life they deserve!

Meet George!

George once arrived as a stray, quietly finding his way into a backyard. Though his rescuers tried to keep him safe there, mending fences and doing their best to contain him, George’s heart was set on something more—and he always found a way out.

It wasn’t restlessness, but longing. George isn’t meant for life outdoors; he longs to be inside, surrounded by love. He dreams of curling up beside you, sharing your bed, and resting contentedly in your lap as a true member of the family.

With his temporary family, George has flourished. He no longer tries to escape, having found comfort and companionship indoors. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative—completely ready for his next chapter.

All George needs now is a forever home where he will be cherished, not just as a pet, but as family.

This is Alex. He wasn’t just dumped, he was left tied to a light pole at a park! People never cease to amaze me. How is it okay to just leave a living creature tied to a pole. Alex wasn’t just left tied to a pole. He was left with no water, no food, and no hope in sight. Of course he wasn’t neutered, or microchipped. He was skin and bones. It’s okay Alex. We got you. We will make sure he finds a family who will love him for an eternity!

Meet Maddie!

Poor Maddie was found running the streets of San Antonio. The person who found her mistook her for a Yorkie. They contacted a Yorkie breeder who contacted us! To our surprise Maddie was a pure bred Maltese! Poor Maddie was so matted that she had to have most of her body, all 4 legs, and her tail completely shaved! Maddie hated being groomed. It took several days to finish her grooming. She does not have a beautiful haircut but she definitely has a beautiful personality! All she needs now is someone who is willing to give her a chance and of course keep up with her grooming! If you are interested in Maddie check her out on our petfinder page!

Desperately seeking help with bottle baby puppies! We have 5 puppies that were transported to San Antonio from Laredo where they were dumped in a box in the street. We had fosters lined up but one backed out after the puppies were already on the way to San Antonio. Now have two babies that are in desperate need of foster homes!
