Hi there! I'm Jet - a 1-year-old boy mix with turbo-charged energy and a heart that's ready for takeoff. I'm basically a furry little airplane: fast, fun, and occasionally a bit loud when I get excited (what can I say, I run on enthusiasm and snacks). I know some basic commands, I walk well on a leash, and I'm smart as a whip - I just need a co-pilot who can help guide my zoomies into greatness. I may have a few years under my collar, but that just means I come with great manners and a calm, affectionate nature. Hey, I'm Malric - and life is my playground! At 1 year old, I've got energy to spare, a bold spirit, and a love for toys, treats, and everything fun. Whether it's chasing a ball, learning a new trick, or exploring the great outdoors, I'm all in. I think the world was made for adventure, and I'm always ready to take you along for the ride!

I already know my basic commands, and I'm super smart, which means I catch on fast (especially if there are treats involved). Employee Appreciation Day was full of wagging tails and smiling faces.

We had the best time celebrating with Salt Lake County employees yesterday. It was so heartwarming to see so many departments come together to support one another and our shelter pets.

Even better? Two kittens and one adorable puppy found their forever homes during the event.

Bear, our playful and affectionate puppy, and Honey, a sweet 7 year old senior, are both still available and back at the shelter waiting for someone to fall in love with them.

Thank you to all the amazing county staff who stopped by, shared some love, and helped make the day so special.

We are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am-6 pm if you want to come meet Bear, Honey, or any of their friends!

Every adoption is a story of hope, healing, and second chances. We’re deeply grateful to each of you who chose to adopt, who believed that every animal deserves love and a fresh start. Your kindness means everything to these pets and to our entire team at Salt Lake County Animal Services.
