Meet Goose: 50% fluff, 50% parkour prodigy. 🐱💨 He sprints, he soars, he snuggles under your neck like a living, purring scarf. Equal parts wild child and sweetheart—and totally unforgettable.

"Goose is a 1.5-year-old male purebred ragdoll cat!! He is so fluffy and fun and loves to sprint around the house to parkour off of anything he can find! They say cats are nocturnal, but goose pretty much sleeps when I sleep as I often wake up to find him curled under my neck. He's a sweetheart and I couldn't picture my life without him!!"

"I had the privilege of taking part in a heartfelt fundraiser for the LA wildfires, hosted at the stunning . Families were invited to book mini sessions with a group of incredibly talented photographers from our island community. As luck would have it, one of my friends and her adorable family reserved a spot during my time slot—making it even more special. It was such a joy to capture their moments, all while contributing to a meaningful cause."

⛔ STOP! ⛔ Someone take my cards away from me because I'm about to buy tickets to NYC just to have make me look this cool.

"Despite living in Maryland, I shoot in NYC or Brooklyn a few times every year. I have been envisioning a shoot on film in Chinatown like this for years!! Erin & Harry couldn't have been more amazing. Harry was born and raised in NYC so he knew every street corner we strolled. Telling stories of when he was little as we walked. It was just a really fun and relaxed shoot. I didn't set expectations or overly pose for a shoot. We just explored! I think that's when the most beautiful and real moments are captured."

FUJI or PORTRA?

The heartbreak heard round the world (for film photographers anyway) was when Fuji discontinued their 400H film. Since then, the most asked question we hear is, "How do I get my Portra 400 to look like Fuji 400?"

"Capturing a newborn and bouncing toddler can always prove challenging. The trick is to keep that toddler happy, "does your baby smell like strawberries? are his toes stinky? how many toes does your baby have? is he awake or asleep?" Are some of my favorites to keep the toddler engaged and interested in what we're doing. And a few marshmallows, of course! From there I just capture the moments as they unfold while changing my focus of a shot to give variety. While I am constantly kept on my toes, these sessions are always the most fun!"

On a recent trip, I had the chance to spontaneously meet up with one of my favorite couples (also from the Midwest!) and share a little slice of that desert magic with them. Casper (who genuinely thinks his name is Buddy 🐶) had the best spring break ever—with his dog park BFF, Ruby, in town for a week of chaos and cuddles. Naturally, film photos were involved. Because what’s a doggy sleepover without a little photoshoot? 📸🐾

"This is Casper and Ruby. Casper is my 14-month-old Weimaraner and his best dog-pal Ruby who he met at the local dog park. Ruby spent spring break with us while her family went on vacation. Any time I dog-sit, I love to capture the pups on film for their family! I've been finishing rolls of film on Casper since he was a puppy, and I love looking back to see how much he has grown! I call Casper my buddy so much that he thinks his name is Buddy!"

✨💡BEST POSING PROMPT: Grab a beer and chill. 🍻✨

"All of the groomsmen traveled in from all over the US for a rustic wedding on the Colorado Springs front range in Colorado. Many of these guys grew up working in agriculture or on farms, and after learning they had special beverages and overhearing several of them commenting on the "Yellowstone" vibes of the location, I asked them to take a beat on the fence while I fiddle with my camera. Truthfully, I knew that in order to get genuine friendships and relaxed nature of their personalities, I needed to take a step back and let them have a drink in a field with the cutest dog around. This set the pace of our time together and throughout the rest of the day!"
