We have two young adult female cats needing a home!! Both are being fostered by different employees at the moment.
The black/white is 3 years old, spayed female. Shy, very sweet, doesn't mind other pets.
The tabby is approx 2 years old, soon to be spayed (she's nursing kittens), very friendly, and loves people. There's not a lot of exp with other cats right now as she's protective of the newborns.

You may hear a veterinarian recommend sedation for your pet for radiographs, but why?
Sedation allows for:
1. Allows for proper positioning and minimizes repeating radiographs for a good image
2. Reduces radiation exposure (by not having to take multiple radiographs to get a good image)
—> reducing radiation not just for your pet but for employees!
3. Reduces stress and anxiety for the pet
4. Certain X-rays require specific positioning which may be difficult to obtain with gentle restraint alone

If a veterinarian recommends sedation for radiographs, it is not because “your pet is bad or poorly behaved” but to help make the process as smooth and safe as possible.
