Say hello to Tanzee! 🐾

This sweet and shy Lab mix is ready to find the forever family she deserves. Tanzee is around 2 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. She came to us after being surrendered to a county shelter while pregnant. Her puppies have all found wonderful homes, and now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby.

Tanzee is a gentle girl with a playful heart. She loves running, playing, and spending time with other dogs. A home with another friendly, playful pup would help her continue building confidence and enjoying life.

She’s currently being fostered with a cat and does great — she simply ignores the kitty. Tanzee has great house manners when people are around, but she can become a little anxious when left alone, so she does best kenneled while her family is away.

She’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and loving. Tanzee prefers a calm environment where other dogs respect her space during meals, but otherwise she’s easygoing and kind.

Meet Lucy ❤️

Lucy is a beautiful 4 month old pit mix girl who is officially ready to find her forever family next week.

She’s fully vetted, playful, outgoing, and full of personality. This sweet girl loves being outside, playing with the other puppies, and spending time with her humans just as much as she enjoys puppy playtime.

Lucy is smart and learns very quickly. She already knows when the leash comes out it’s time to head outside, and she happily sits for treats like a pro. She’s also adorably vocal when she gets excited or wants to initiate play with her puppy friends.

🍑The Sweetest Apricot You’ll Ever Pick 🍑

Apricot’s story didn’t start easy, but she’s more than ready for her happy ending.

She was found on the side of the road, giving birth to her puppies with no safety and no place to call home. She did everything she could for them… and now every one of her babies has been adopted.

Now it’s finally her turn.

Apricot is about 3 years old, around 65 pounds, and just like her name, she’s incredibly sweet, gentle, and easy to love.

She’s both crate trained and house trained, and she’s settled beautifully into routine while in our care.

She has done well meeting other dogs on leash, and like with any new dog in a home, slow and thoughtful introductions are always recommended.

Apricot says cats are a hard pass, as she prefers to keep her circle simple.

What she really wants is simple: a soft place to land, a family to call her own, and the chance to finally be cared for the way she’s always deserved.

🌟 Meet Starr 🌟 ( foster to adopt available )

Starr is searching for her dream team — a forever family to call her very own. After spending the past couple of years in rescue, this bright, bouncy girl is more than ready to finally shine in a home where she’ll be cherished forever.

Starr absolutely adores people! she’s basically a walking dose of happiness. It’s impossible not to smile when she’s around, especially watching her bounce across the yard with one of her hilariously oversized tennis balls (her all-time favorite!). When she’s not perfecting her fetch skills, she enjoys spending time with her neighborhood kitty friends and has even learned to love the stray cats near her foster home.

While Starr has done well with some dogs, we believe she would truly thrive as the only pup in the home. She’s a total diva who loves soaking up all the attention — and honestly, she deserves nothing less.

At about 6½ years old and a perfect 49 pounds, Starr is the best of both worlds — playful when it’s time for fun and calm when it’s time to relax. She’s crate-trained, potty-trained, and completely ready to fill her forever home with laughter, love, and endless tail wags.

‼️🎉Foster to Adopt or Adopter Needed for Knox ❤️

Knox is a 70 plus pound giant with so much love to give. Since coming BACK into foster care, he has made incredible progress and continues to show everyone just how much potential he has to become the perfect companion. He was given up on by his previous family. His trainers describe him as a wonderful boy who learns quickly and truly wants to please. He’s extremely food motivated, which makes training fun and effective!

Knox is great with kids and may do well around other friendly happy dogs, but because of his size and excitement, he does best with slow introductions while he learns proper manners. We are working on more exposure with dogs because he unfortunately hasn’t had much at his previous home.

He already knows sit, down, and stay, is fully crate trained, potty trained, and loves relaxing.

More than anything, Knox is a good boy who simply needed guidance, patience, and love. He deserves a second chance at a forever home that will continue helping him thrive. In return, he’ll give endless love and loyalty to the right family! Apply at dawgsfightback.com

Katie has recently started working with a trainer, and we would love to continue that support as she transitions into a new home. 🙏🙏🙏🥺🥺

Katie urgently needs a foster to adopt home. She has an amazing foster right now, but what she truly needs is someone willing to give her a real chance at forever. Her foster family will also be going away in a few weeks, and unfortunately we have nowhere for her to go.

Katie is around 2 to 3 years old, about 45 lbs, dog friendly with proper introductions, crate trained, affectionate, playful, and loves walks, car rides, zoomies, and snuggles.

She would do best in a quieter home. Katie is not cat tested, but she is dog friendly and deserves a loving forever home. We will continue to help and support her adopters as she settles into her new home.

Katie survived horrific abuse before being rescued in October 2025 with severe injuries, yet she remains one of the sweetest, most loving dogs.

Meet Maisel 💕 The Sweetest Soul You’ll Ever Meet 🖤

Honestly, we cannot believe this girl is still waiting for her forever home.

Maisel is the kind of dog people say they’re searching for. Calm. Loving. Easygoing. Loyal. The type of soul that only comes around once in a lifetime.

She’s about 5 years old, around 75 pounds, potty trained, crate trained, and truly the total package.

Maisel absolutely adores people. She lives for kisses, face rubs, cuddles, and simply being close to her humans. She has the sweetest, gentlest heart and the cutest little stubborn streak that makes everyone fall in love with her.

Before coming to rescue, Maisel was failed by humans in unimaginable ways. She was found with a bullet lodged in her back leg, and an old leg injury that healed improperly. Because of that, she sometimes walks on three legs and will never be a super active hiking dog.

But here’s the beautiful part… Maisel does not let any of that stop her from living a happy, normal life.

She still walks just fine, gets adorable zoomies, enjoys relaxing with her people, and is perfectly content with a slower, easygoing lifestyle. She also has hip dysplasia, but maintaining a healthy weight and taking an inexpensive joint supplement each month keeps her comfortable and thriving. No major medical care or long term medications needed.

She does well with other dogs but no cats.

What Maisel truly needs is a calm, loving home where she can finally feel safe, spoiled, and adored the way she deserves.

She is genuinely one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met, and the fact that she is still overlooked is absolutely heartbreaking.

Please give this incredible girl the chance she deserves. 💖

Foster to adopt needed 🎉🎉🎉🎉♥️‼️‼️

Our mixed breed Bacon needs a family!! He’s potty trained, crate trained, and does great left alone without being crated. He’d love a home with another dog 🐶, is kid friendly 👶, and could potentially be cat friendly 🐱 with proper introductions

🥓 At 9 months old, Bacon is the sweetest boy who just wants love and connection. He loves cuddles, toys, and being part of everyday life

🖤 He knows sit and down, walks nicely on a leash, and plays great with other dogs. He’s made huge progress with separation anxiety and now does amazing with free roam. No barking, no chewing, just a great balance of play, naps, and relaxing

Bacon does best with slow introductions, but once comfortable, he becomes everyone’s best friend. Full body wiggles included

He loves stuffed toys, snow, and treats, and he’s ready to bring so much love to his forever family

Let’s get him a HOME!!!!! 🎉🎉
