Exciting news - our 2026 calendars are ordered and are expected to be here the first week of December!

These calendars feature many wonderful dogs and cats that have been adopted from us and were designed by one of our staff.
They make excellent Christmas gifts!

They will be $20 each, or 3 for $50. When they arrive - they can be picked up at the shelter or mailed to you for an additional $2.

You can call 304-782-4900 during our office hours to preorder over the phone or schedule a time to come in and pay/pickup. We take cash, check, card, or Paypal.

Little Shelter with a BIG heart!

Located at the end of Wiseman Run Road in Salem, WV, this small shelter makes a big difference to the dogs and cats of Doddridge County. Low cost spaying and neutering is offered, and there are always dogs and cats available for adoption. We love to get the community involved in volunteering. The public is welcome to come to one of our cat rooms and just chill during the shelter’s open hours.
