Update on the Whole Pet/Vetco merge:
We are still located at 340 Leslie St. SE, Salem, OR and have the same phone number 503-363-6465
We can access both emails but our main email will now be
[email protected]

We will not be moving to Petco on Center St. till spring/summer 2023, we will be sure to announce the move when the time comes.

A big change is that we will no longer be able to carry any prescription diets at all in clinic.
We can give you a prescription food diet card to take to Petco on commercial to purchase food at their Vetco or a written prescription to take to a pharmacy of choice

Dr.DeMarco and staff have been learning our new system but we think we are finally getting the hang of it. There are a few hiccups that we are still working out like merging our old system with the new one. You might get reminders still from Whole Pet’s old system as well as Petco, we apologize for that.
We are all still practicing the same way as always, both eastern and western medicine, fear free with lots of loves and snacks, nothing has changed there. ❤️

You may see a new face in the clinic! Dr. Jess is a relief veterinarian that has been working with us three days a week. Dr. Jess has lived all around the US, including Arizona, Ohio, South Carolina, and Massachusetts. After graduating from Boston University in 2009, she moved to Oregon and has been at home here ever since. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University in 2017. She has been a small animal practitioner since graduation, and while she enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine her main interests include internal medicine, dentistry, preventative health, and geriatric care. She is also certified in veterinary acupuncture and uses it for a variety of cases. In her spare time, Dr. Jess enjoys photography, traveling, being outdoors hiking and backpacking, gardening, and cooking.
