Heartbroken following the loss, we established a connection with Willows AKC Golden Retrievers (owned by Lisa Beard in Crescent City, California), and we fell in love with the idea of bringing home two sweet girls that could help mend our hearts and one day provide joy to many more families with their puppies. We pride ourselves in well socialized golden retrievers who live full-lives on a 3-acre property surrounded in nature. The forested property is backed-up by a creek and offers plenty of deer, bird, and squirrel watching. Additionally, we have three cats and several ducks that the girls are curious about and gentle with. Stella and Luna are great with small children and have even won over dog-nervous kids with soft kisses and cuddles. Their warm hearts and mild manners are serving them well as they pursue their comfort dog certification!

Luna Kai of Bigfoot Goldens and Ransom
of Dark Goldens on Hilltop litter arrived on 6-2-2026! Mom and puppies are all doing great. 6 girls and 4 boys!

Luna is an active girl with a sweet disposition carrying AKC titles CGC CGCU TKN FITB VHMA VSWB and Ransom is also an active cuddly big boy and super sweet also with CGC CGCU CGCA TKN FITB VHMA FDC and more.

When we go visit Ransom he licks Luna and loves on her. They both are sweet!

Puppies had health checks by the vet on staff this morning and will get
dew claws removed Thursday.

Puppies will go home end of July!

It is official - Bogey/Stella will be expecting on August 12th with an October 6th go home! Means cooler late summer early fall training dates - leaves and all. 🍂

This is Stella’s third mating exclusively with Bogey and puppies have incredibly dark red fur, sweet personalities, and they are very smart and trainable.

Excellent with small children (with parental training 🤣)

Stella has AKC titles CGC CGCU CGCA TKN VHMA FITB (getting Silver 6/6) VSWB and will be testing soon for Farm Dog Stella is super sweet and mild in nature.

Bogey is amazing - He is a Dock Diving Master and runs FAST CAT - he has AKC CGC CGCA CGCU TKN VHMA DM DE BCAT - and his mama is a dog trainer and pretty good at it. He will be getting his FIT Dog Bronze on 6/6.

Stella just had updated OFA cardiology and eyes were last fall 🍁

Aurora Kai (Luna/Moose) ran FAST CAT today in Eugene. Uncle Bret captured the video. 100 yards (300 feet). Aurora proved she could do a down and back which will be great. Found out today she is currently ranked 138 out of 287 for golden retrievers. Not bad for a newbie!

Sam stayed home and kept an eagle eye on Luna who is due anytime and signs are that we are close to delivering puppies!

Luna update: Luna is day 58 (gestation is 63 days) and grown alot this week! She is a vacuum cleaner right now on supplements, puppy food, canned puppy food, chicken, cheese and leftovers from the fridge eating 3-4 times a day! This is how they prepare for delivery. We will soon know how many boys and girls we have. If you are on our list we will work through it as quickly as we can.

Heard from Nelsons parents. Nelson is from Luna/Ransom and is almost 1 year old. He is sheer perfection of a golden retriever. His family takes him everywhere - I love seeing his adventures. Nelson loves water and is a pretty good little swimmer. see the video in the comments!
