Our younger dwarf litter that I shared earlier in May has 1 odd-eye little girl. 🥰

The litter is out of a pair of dwarfs that I got from Sunny Savannah Rattery and I believe they are out of Georgian Bay Rats lines.

I'm really excited for the opportunity to work with the dwarf rats that I've received from both of these lovely breeders! 🥰

It's really hard to capture in a photo, the photo makes the eyes look darker than they really are. 🫤

I just received an email from Karen Robbins letting me know that 2 of the pictures she took of our young silvermane (AFRMA D'Argent) boys at the recent show have been added to the unstandardized page of the AFRMA website. 🥰

Sorry for any delays getting back to everyone who has messaged me and for not posting any updates.

As most of you know, we've spent the last 2 months out of state helping my Mom after her fall. I've only flown home twice to get prescriptions picked up and to attend a few mandatory meetings.

We are finally back home now but we do have a planned trip in July so I'm not sure if I'll be pairing up any rats until we return from our trip.

Entering into this new chapter of life, after a lot of thought during those 2 months away from home, I have decided to end my journey with the mice going forward and just focus on my rats. I've enjoyed working with the mice and I've met a lot of great people along the way.

With that being said, please reach out to me if you'd like to continue working with any of these lines. I will also be selling the lab bins as well.

Rats have always been my passion and I look forward to continuing to breed towards good health, good temperment and good conformation.

Thanks to Georgian Bay Rats I have expanded my dwarf lines and thanks to Nevermore Rodentry I'm able to work with some nice varieties that were lost/almost lost in the USA plus some other nice lines that she's entrusted to me over the years. 🥰

** The picture below is from quite awhile back. The 2 hairless boys were siblings and 1 was a standard size hairless and the other was an odd eyed hairless dwarf **

We made it to the AFRMA show down in Southern California.

Our black silvermane (AFRMA D'Argent) buck took 1st place, our black dumbo silvermane (AFRMA D'Argent) buck took 2nd place and our black dumbo silvermane (AFRMA D'Argent) doe took 3rd place.

AFRMA is only going to standardize black, chocolate, Russian blue and mink D'Argent so the agoutis weren't counted toward the rewards. Otherwise, the standard ear agouti D'Argent was the overall favorite of the agouti D'Argent as far as confirmation and temperment.

We are excited for the opportunity to participate in our first AFRMA show in Southern California this Saturday.. If you're in the area, come check out the show and please, stop by and say "Hi"!

We will be entering the silvermane babies from our most recent litter that we brought down with us in April when we came to help my Mom out.

I'm really happy with how these guys are turning out. This is our litter out of JWVR black silvermane whiteside buck × NEVER agouti doe litter born on 3/11/2025.

These silvermane will help towards getting silvermane (AFRMA D'Argent) standardized so that they can be shown in the regular AFRMA classes.

Not the best photos, but here's a sneak peak:

Sorry I haven't posted much on here lately, I've been out of state helping my Mom.

I flew home to meet transport, pick up prescriptions, check on my critters, and attend a couple of meetings. I will be flying back to my Mom's tomorrow.

In the meantime, we brought in some beautiful new dwarfs to work with from Georgian Bay Rats up in Canada!🥰 I am beyond excited and blessed to finally get to work with some of their beautiful dwarf rats. We've waited for years to bring some in, and thanks to Mel Russo , it was finally possible!

And, I came home to a couple of new dwarf litters as well, thanks to Savannah Rattery!

Here are 3 boys from one of our current litters. I really love this litter and it's going to be difficult deciding which ones will be staying with us to continue the line. 🥰

This litter is out of NEVER agouti doe × JWVR blk silvermane whiteside buck.

We had our very first manx buck born here, all of the others have been females! 🥰

So far he's nice and healthy, considering the size of the litter. I just fostered off some of the litter to another mom that only had 4 babies.

Look how my daughter decorated my birthday cake yesterday! 🥰❤️
