A new month is here, and that means it’s time to give your pet their preventative! 🐶🐱

Monthly preventatives help protect against fleas, ticks, heartworm, and other parasites before they become a problem. Keeping up with regular doses is one of the best ways to support your pet’s long-term health and comfort.

Running low? Stop in to pick up your next dose, or place an order through our website pharmacy and have it delivered straight to your home. 📦

A friendly reminder from your veterinary team: fireworks season starts earlier than you think. 🎆

Every year, we hear from pet owners whose dogs and cats are overwhelmed by storms and holiday celebrations. If your pet has a history of noise anxiety, don't wait until the next thunderstorm or fireworks display to make a plan.

Contact us today to discuss options for helping your pet stay calm and comfortable. We'd much rather see you prepared ahead of time than scrambling during a stressful event.

These two photos of Wallace tell a story we think about often in Fear Free practice.

A puppy’s early veterinary visits can shape how they feel about the clinic for the rest of their life. That’s why we work so hard to make those experiences positive: lots of rewards, gentle handling, breaks when needed, and meeting pets where they are emotionally instead of forcing them through fear.

Nine years later, Wallace still knows our clinic as a place where good things happen -and honestly, that’s one of the biggest compliments we can receive as a veterinary team. 🐾

Fear Free care isn’t just about reducing stress in the moment. It’s about building lifelong trust.

Call us at 651-224-3038 to schedule your Fear Free visit.

An upset stomach can happen to any pet, but it’s not always easy to know what’s normal, what’s concerning, and how to help at home. 🐶🐱

That’s why we put together a blog with guidance on caring for pets experiencing vomiting or diarrhea, including hydration tips, feeding recommendations, and warning signs that shouldn’t be ignored.

If you’ve ever found yourself Googling symptoms at 2 a.m., this one’s for you. 🐾

Ever notice your pet ignores one toy but becomes obsessed with another? There’s a reason for that! 🐶🐱

Pets often develop preferences based on texture, sound, movement, size, or even how a toy feels to carry or chew. Trying different styles of toys can help you discover what’s most engaging and enriching for your individual pet.

Learning what your pet enjoys most isn’t “spoiling” them - it’s a great way to support healthy play, mental stimulation, and emotional wellbeing. 🐾
