Franklin County Animal Rescue

Today begins National Animal Shelter and Rescue Appreciation week!
In honor of this, throughout the week we are going to be highlighting some of the different ways you can help support the animals here at FCAR -as well as a bit about FCAR and the animals who are currently ready and looking for their new !
The first way you can directly support us is through donating!
Monetary donations go a long way in supporting the daily operations of the rescue, medical expenses, housing/ facility upgrades, staff training, community outreach programs as well as supplementing supplies/ food when in-kind donations do not quite meet the current demands.
All donations are greatly appreciated... just imagine what a difference it would make if each of our 12k followers here made a donation of even just $1-$5!

We hope you all have had a wonderful day and continued on into a fun evening!

Run around the dog yard with Bella Mae!!!
Can you believe this girl is still looking for her new best friend? She would make the very best Autumn adventure buddy and has so much love to give!

✨ ✨

Today we would love to reintroduce Bella Mae, an 8-year-old beagle-mix who joined us in mid-July and has been eagerly waiting for her special human to come find her here! Are you (or is someone you know) looking for a fun-loving, loyal adventure buddy? You may want to read further (and/ or share!)

🐶A bit about this sweet girl: Bella Mae is sweet, smart, and 💥bursting with energy! She is a delightful girl who loves to run, fetch, play, and be around her favorite humans! Her greatest desire is to be by her best friend’s side in all activities as a part of your everyday life💗!
She is house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and has lived with children (she loves people, children included!) and other animals. While she seems to co-exist well with kitty friends😻, she’s a bit more selective about canine companions, so if there are other dogs in the home, slow introductions would be important.
If you’re looking for an adventurous, delightful, loyal companion with a silly side, Bella Mae may just be your girl!
We encourage you to complete our online application.
If you have any additional questions about Bella Mae, or the adoption process in general, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]
