Murphy did AMAZING for his owners in Home Depot today during our private lesson! What a smart boy! 💛

Hey guys!! Remember how I said the first dog I ever had was named Shadow???

When I was a kid, my family took me to the bank to see Santa and I asked for a Golden Retriever puppy… well, Santa delivered 😅 and here’s the picture proof! The bottom picture is Shadow all grown up and handsome ❤️

These guys don’t even need costumes, they’re all demons 😂😈🎃

Murphy wrapped up his 2 week Board & Train and went home last night! Don’t worry, his owners purchased the Puppy’s First Year Package so we’ll be seeing a lot more of him!

2 weeks may feel like a long time to the owners who miss them while they’re gone, but when it comes to learning new things, it’s really not that much time. However, Murphy picked up on so much while he was here and it makes me really excited to see how far he will go in the next year!

A recap of my day! We have a full crew at the moment 😁

Mr. Murphy is on his second week of his Board & Train and is doing so well! He has been learning socialization skills with other dogs and people, cooperative handling/grooming exercises, relaxation/impulse control, leash skills, and confidence building.

We had a wonderful outing today at a local store and he not only walked well on leash, but didn’t overreact to the other customers and even offered a down while we waited in line!!

I am very happy with how far he has come already 💛 here are some pictures from the last week!

Everyone please welcome Murphy to the Shadow Dog Training crew!! Murphy’s owners recently purchased the Puppy’s First Year Package and have already enjoyed a private lesson, and an Adventure Day. He is now here for the two-week board & train portion of the package and is settling in so well!

Day 1 we got up bright and early for some training and exposure to the real world. When we got home we worked on some grooming exercises, because this fluff ball is going to need grooming every month for the rest of his life! He has also been learning how to relax in the house without finding trouble for himself. But don’t worry, he’s had PLENTY of playtime and spoiling too!

I’m so glad his owners have been taking all the steps to make sure he becomes a well adjusted, confident adult with the skills every good dog should have. I can’t wait to see how this sweet boy does 🐾🦴
