FURgive the long post but it’s been a busy month adding new members to the pack while maintaining schedules for all the regulars. Thanks to countless referrals this small business remains consistent.
Please help me welcome:

TOBY 🐈‍⬛ this sophisticated senior cat required care for a week but not just routine feeding and cleaning litter boxes. His kidneys no longer fully function requiring fluids to be administered. His mom was able to travel without worry while I maintained all of his medical care needs. He was happy and healthy upon her return.

SCOUT & SAGE 🐕 🐕 these two pups are used to daily walks. Their owner was a lil apprehensive since SCOUT is nervous not only with new people but situations. After a meet and greet she determined my services would be a good fit for them while she was out of town.

PAULIE & OLIVER 🐈‍⬛🐈 these 2 fantastic felines found their way to me when their mom decided the Rover sitter didn’t meet her expectations. Based on my reviews she opted to give PPPC a try.

TIMMYCAT 🐈 he is new to my pack but his family is not. Sadly they lost their other cat to illness. Recently they adopted this lovable boy.

VINCENT 🐈‍⬛ also new to join but his people are familiar since I once took care of their other cat. They are enjoying traveling abroad knowing he’s well cared for back home.

So blessed to be able to continue to provide personalized pet care for new families ❤️🐾

This week’s work included KOTY and his feline friends. PPPC has been caring for them for years but this time was different since recently KOTY was diagnosed with asthma. His mom and his amazing veterinarian are establishing which medications work best for him. So monitoring his behavior was more important than usual. However, KOTY can be a typical cat who may hide when company arrives. With some coaxing and patience he and I came to an understanding that I was there to help. By nature KOTY is a sweetheart of a cat which made his two inhaler treatments and giving an oral steroid twice daily much easier. His sister AVA also takes meds for her allergies. Mom returned home from her vacation to happy, healthy fur babies. Peace of mind when leaving your pets home is priceless.

PPPC ushered in the New Year with some familiar faces and these 2 new ones. I welcomed CLYDE (brown) and CEVIN (tri color) to my pack. Their parents had a week long trip planned but were reluctant to go since boarding the dogs last time didn’t go well. Clyde has anxiety and takes medication. Cevin is extremely sensitive and takes awhile to warm up. My services made it possible for the boys to remain in the comforts of their own home. When mom and dad returned both boys were happy and healthy. And their time away was fully enjoyed without the worry.
So much heartfelt gratitude to EVERYONE who chose PPPC in 2025. I’m looking forward to continuing to provide personalized pet care in 2026.

Forgive the photo dump but I failed to acknowledge Pawsitively Purrfect pet care celebrated 10 yrs in business. My pack has grown so much and I’m proud of the menagerie of pets I consider family. When I started this endeavor I was 1 of 2 pet sitters locally. Times have changed and there are more options available but PPPC still remains the first choice of many. The utmost gratitude to my clients who have supported me through this decade of doing what I love. Providing personalized pet care in the comfort of their home by a licensed, trusted, insured professional with experience as a veterinary technician. The summer 🌞 days and nights have been busy with hot dogs 🐶, cool cats 🐱 and many more critters 🐰🐹. Regulars and referrals are the reasons PPPC is still in business 10yrs next month. My pack has grown so much.

I recently welcomed Armani and Romeo. These two sweet seniors were referred by their veterinarian, Riverside Animal Clinic. Armani is diabetic making his owner’s week long vacation seem impossible. After our meet and greet the family enjoyed the trip with confidence knowing their precious pets were well cared for. Twice daily I prepared meals and administered the insulin injections along with eye drops for both boys. The family returned home to happy, healthy pups.

One of my favorite felines 🐈 and regulars, Tigger and his family are moving north. For just over a year now I have administered SQ fluids at his home. Tigger sadly is in kidney failure. It was too stressful on him to travel weekly to vet’s office for fluid therapy. My services eliminated the unnecessary hassle so he could remain in the comfort of his home. I will miss our visits 🧡.

Very often people ask exactly what does my business enTAIL?! Aside from pet sitting for vacations I offer daily visits for the pet parents whose long work days mean their animals require a break like BENTLEY, REMMY, OSCAR, PELE, CHLOE & her sis. Or clients like my big girl, BINNE, an Irish Wolfhound, whose nails I’ve been trimming since she was 8 weeks old when we first met at a veterinary hospital I was employed at. She’s never left her house for a mani or pedi. And there’s my most recent client who came to me on an emergency basis. Because life happens! I received a call based on a referral from a previous client for a family experiencing an emergency that left their beloved 15 yr old cat alone in Sanford, Mi. Arrangements were made via phone and I was able to accommodate and most importantly offer peace of mind which is truly priceless when it involves loved ones and distance. Despite never meeting the owners they trusted not only their home but their beloved cat to my care. That speaks volume to my lil reputation.
Unfortunately I do NOT offer boarding since my home is typically full of fosters.

The dog, cat, rat 🐶🐱🐭 days of summer are drawing to an end. It’s been one of the busiest for PPPC and me. Blessed to add so many new members to my pack and continue the care for many of my regular clients. This month I celebrate 8 yrs in business and without the support from many of you that wouldn’t be possible. In addition all the referrals from local veterinarians are appreciated immensely. I look forward to continuing to offer personalized pet care in the comfort of your pet’s home. Unfortunately I do not offer boarding as I coordinate for a local rescue and my home is full. I might not make the big bucks but my services make a BIG difference in the lives of my clients … the sick ones especially.
Daisy is almost if not 20 years old and is sadly in kidney failure amongst other ailments. She requires subcutaneous fluids weekly to help keep her well enough considering. Recently her veterinarian increased the frequency to twice weekly. Her mum wants to minimize any stress so fluids at home is a definite benefit for them, both.
R***r, Zuzu and kitty who works for treats lol also benefit from my services. Mr Handsome, sweet, old R***R recently had both of his eyes removed. His parents did all they could to preserve his deteriorating eyes. Prior to the removal of his eyes I administered 2 different eye drops on my visits in addition to oral medication. I also give the allergy injection for his sis, ZUZU. Not your ordinary pet sitter isn’t just a slogan but a way of business for me. Proud to say going on 8 yrs this August 2023. Someone asked me the other day if I still offer pet sitting. I answered with an emphatic yes!! I’m still running the roads rain, sleet or snow. My clients most importantly their pets rely on me not just for potty breaks and loving. Some like my friend, R***R (cattle dog) require medication a few times a day. I apply 2 different types of drops 3xs a day to both eyes in addition to administering his oral meds. He’s legally blind and requires direction to navigate around except when he’s making new paths in the snow. Pets with special needs are my specialty. One of my elderly cat clients is sadly in kidney failure and subcutaneous fluids are necessary. Instead of stressing her out with car rides to the vet I come over to her house and give the fluids. Does your pet hate going to the vets office for nail trims? Consider having it done in your own home. Personalized pet care provided by a certified veterinary technician is what sets my pet sitting services apart from others.
