So, a minor update that we really haven’t publicly announced.

Victoria has started breeding her own club lambs.

This year she decided to keep one ewe lamb back and do jack pots plus showmanship clinics. Also she has decided to take her to fair to enter for home grown market division.

She placed at our fair,
best of show ewe open & youth
(ewe lamb from our favorite breeder)
Champion Hampshire ewe lamb
3rd place light weight wether.
Reserve class market champions pens
grand champion home grown.

She currently has four brood ewes.
Two who are live cover
And two who are AI.

Not only has she taken on breeding in general, she decided to also play with the AI world!

Our kids did great with fair week!

Victoria placed grand champion market and first place doeling kid.
Zachary placed first doe over two years old and second place doeling kid.
Those were our boer lines.

Lee was grand champion of dairy market division with his Nubian x boer market wether.

Walker also first in jr wether born in current year with his Nubian x boer.

❤️ Friday is all about celebrating our youth, agriculture, and community at the Saginaw County Fair!

Today is one of the most meaningful days of fair week as our Junior Livestock Sale takes center stage. Come out and support the hardworking young exhibitors who have dedicated countless hours to raising and caring for their animals throughout the year.

There's plenty happening all day long, including:

🎤 Live entertainment throughout the day

Stop by and see what our county’s 4-H youth have been working on! From livestock to still exhibits, there’s something for everyone.

The countdown is officially on... and we can't wait to welcome you back to the 2026 Saginaw County Fair! ❤️

For months, our exhibitors have been raising animals, perfecting their baked goods, sewing, painting, woodworking, gardening, photographing, and creating projects they'll soon proudly share with our community. The finish line is almost here!
✅Youth and Adult Exhibit Hall projects will be checked in no later than Saturday, August 1.

And for everyone planning a visit... your favorite fair traditions are just around the corner!

Join us Wednesday, July 8, from 6-8 p.m. at our Frankenmuth office for an evening of family fun and sustainability in action. Meet the goats, enjoy the Frankenmuth Area Patriots 4-H Club petting zoo, and learn how goats can help manage vegetation naturally along the Cass River.
