🦫💚 Mike, our Practice Manager at Gulf Coast Veterinary Emergency Hospital, and his wife have a unique passion project—rescuing, rehabilitating, and researching beavers through their nonprofit, Something Wild.

Beavers are amazing little creatures who help fight climate change by restoring wetlands and sequestering carbon, but they often face tough situations in the wild.

With a 35-acre farm designed just for beavers (yes, really!), Mike and his wife are helping change the way we coexist with wildlife. From bottle-feeding to teaching them how to swim, it’s a two-year journey, but seeing these little ones thrive makes it all worth it! 🌿💦

🚀 Big announcement: Alliance Animal Health is partnering with NASA for our Dogs in Space Program, and Bear is the first pup to volunteer!

He’s getting suited up in custom space gear, stocking up on moon cheese snacks (we have our ways), and preparing for some serious zero-gravity fetch. 🌕🐾

Bear’s about to make paw prints on the moon. We’re just hoping he doesn’t forget his leash.

Pack Summit 2025 was a milestone moment for our team! For the first time ever, we brought together nearly 300 Practice Managers and Central Support teammates all in one place to strengthen connections, spark growth, and learn from one another. 🌱✨

Our breakout sessions were full of rich collaboration, where we dug deep into ways we can partner to elevate our hospitals and ensure their success. The collective ideas and strategies shared will keep us moving forward together to support our partners—stronger and more connected than ever. And of course, we had a blast at our casino night to top it all off! We hit the jackpot with this incredible team.

Heartwarming recovery! After suffering severe limb trauma from a dog attack, Kali needed immediate, specialized care—and a lot of love. 💕 The team at Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Northwest Arkansas was there to provide both, along with constant monitoring, soothing moments watching Bluey, and a supportive friend by her side. Now, she’s on her way to recovery, and inspiring us every step of the way! 🐶🩺

Each year our central support team gathers at our Pack Summit to look to the year ahead and how we'll work together to drive our wins as a pack. Even more exciting, this year we had a chance to celebrate our 200th Partner Practice milestone together. ​
