4 Paws is dedicated to the well being of stray and neglected animals in Lincoln Parish Louisiana. Dog adoption includes: UTD on shots, spay/neuter and first rabies certificate (if dog isn't already fixed), We ALWAYS make sure our animals go to the best homes possible. We are always accepting donations to help further our future as a shelter and to help improve the lives of all the animals we take in. Volunteers are always needed and we greatly appreciate the help.

Boo was found along with her littermates & mom in an abandoned house in Arcadia. Luckily she got chosen to go on transport to Anderson Humane outside of Chicago instead of growing up at our shelter.

Looks like she is settling in just fine!!

Harry came in with his sister, Hazel, (left pic) after they were found at a dumpster.

Hazel was adopted & living a great life!! Harry unfortunately has joint issues. He does have to rest often but still plays and runs. Harry just saw a specialist in Baton Rouge, and he said that Harry with need hip replacements as soon as possible. We are hoping to find a generous Adopter to adopt Harry and give him the medical care he needs! ❤️❤️

💙🧢💙🧢Who says Girls have all the fun??💙🧢💙

Kiba, Bart, Roux, & Gus all had a blast at the dog park today! Not only do they get play time while we clean the kennels, they get to go to the dog park when we have enough volunteers!

Kiba (2), Bart (4-5), Roux (4), & Gus (3) are all looking for a forever home. They are all dog friendly! Interesting facts about each….
💙Kiba is deaf, loves to play, & loves everyone he meets
🧢Bart is a chill boy who loves to “chase” the glare from the sun on the ground 😳 he likes to soak in the sun and is not a fan of cats
💙Roux is a bigger boy who likes to lounge in the sun during play time. He would make a great couch potato companion. He has 2 different colored eyes 👀
🧢Gus is a friendly guy that gets mistaken for a “mean bully.” He loves running the fence chasing the dogs in the opposite yard.

🏂Carter (left), 🌺Willard aka Willie (middle), & 💐Lola (right) are wonderful pups each looking for a loving home. They all love kids!! All are dog friendly but of course we encourage slow intros.

🏂Carter is 1 year old, neutered, UTD on vacs, & looking for a party!
🌺Willard is about 3.5 years old. He is UTD on vacs, neutered, & never meets a stranger.
💐Lola is 6 months & is a very active girl. She is UTD on vacs & just got spayed! She absolutely loves attention & is enjoying constant playtime with her buddies!

So many amazing, happy babies that deserve more than growing up in a shelter. We offer trial adoptions first to make sure the dog is a good match!

Say hello to a Volunteer Favorite……🌊⭐️!!!! Seastar is her name….not giving a crap is her game. She may have RBF but this girl is all fun!! She runs, she plays, she sunbathes, scratches her back on the cement, lounges in her kennel, or steals toys from other dogs….this girl stays busy!
She was found with her boy, ZZ, at a dumpster sitting on an old couch in freezing temps. She is so grateful for a full belly, shelter, & love from volunteers. She loves other dogs & loves meeting new people. Someone please come meet Seastar!!❤️❤️

Look who was in a foster to adopt…our Precious Pippa! She's settled in and has become best friends with her new "brother." Pippa was with us for 7 months so we are so happy that….Pippa has a forever home! Happy Tails sweet girl.
