Make sure your dog stays safe and cool with these quick summer safety tips:

🚗 NEVER leave your dog in the car
🌞 Avoid midday walks
🥵 Watch for signs of overheating
💦 Provide shade and fresh water
🔥 Test the pavement with your hand — if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws!

🌟 PUP OF THE MONTH: ROO 🌟

This little rockstar recently graduated from our 2-Week Board & Train - and we couldn’t be more proud.

Roo came to us needing help with:
🔹 Confidence building
🔹 Social exposure with new people and dogs
🔹 Grooming & handling tolerance

By the end of his stay, Roo was:
✔️ Walking beautifully on leash
✔️ Sitting and laying down with an implied stay
✔️ Calm and relaxed during brush-outs, baths, and nail trims
✔️ Strutting through Pet Supplies Plus like he owned the place 🐾

This pup made incredible progress in a short amount of time, and we were lucky to have him in the program. Way to go, Roo! 💪✨

🐾 June Training Wins at Perspective K9! 🐾

It’s been a rewarding month full of progress, personality, and puppies! Here's a peek at what some of our amazing dogs have been up to:

✨ Winston (Corgi) – Thriving in his private lessons at home! We're building reliable obedience while phasing out puppy antics. He and his owner are putting in the work - and it shows. 💪

✨ Trevor (Golden Retriever Puppy) – Just wrapped up his 2-week Puppy Program! With his happy-go-lucky attitude and strong social skills, he made fast friends - especially with fellow goldens!

✨ Roo (Poodle) – Completed his 2-week program focused on obedience, confidence, and grooming desensitization. For breeds like Roo, regular grooming is essential - and we want them to love it, not fear it.

✨ Luna (Past Grad) – Back for a visit and continuing her progress at home. This big girl is growing into an incredible companion. You might spot her at the Kokomo Farmers Market!

✨ Bodhi (White Eskimo Pup) – Just arrived for her 2-week program! She’ll be working on leash skills, obedience, and potty training. We’re so excited to help shape her into a well-rounded pup.

👏 We’re proud of all our dogs (and their owners!) for their continued growth and commitment. Training isn’t always easy - but it’s always worth it.
