Say hello to Camille, one of our wonderful Veterinary Assistants! Camille completed the Veterinary Assistant program at Macomb Community College, where she built the skills and knowledge she uses every day to help care for our patients. Camille has been a part of the North Main Animal Hospital team since January, and we're so happy to have her on board.

When she's not helping care for our patients, Camille enjoys:

🐱 Is your cat scratching the furniture? Here are some alternatives that can help! 🛋️🐾

Scratching is a completely normal behavior for cats—it helps them stretch, keep their nails healthy, and mark their territory. The goal isn't to stop the scratching, but to redirect it!

Try these tips:
🐾 Offer scratching posts or cat trees (both vertical and horizontal styles).
🐾 Place scratchers near your cat's favorite resting spots or where they're already scratching.
🐾 Encourage use with catnip or toys.
🐾 Keep your cat's nails trimmed regularly.
