This is a courtesy post for 2 dogs that are shelter bound. Owner abandoned them 5 days ago when he left his house but the neighbors have been feeding them and trying to care for them.

The neighbors didn't want them to have go to the shelter so they asked if we could courtesy post.

This beautiful sweet girl is Chloe.
She is in Duval WA.
Her owner through tears is very sick and had to make a difficult decision to rehome her sweet girl Chloe. She is an Anatolian shep 6yr spayed that she rescued from prosser wa. Chloe loves car rides and is current on vaccines and just had a dental done.. per her owner she is Good with other dogs and kids but not cats. Chloe is a gentle loving 80 lbs.

This is Jet. He is a darling boy.
His owners/rescuers want to do what is best for Jet, to rehome him through the tears. Maybe with a woman as he is afraid of men. This is a courtesy post.

Jet they rescued from a garage sale where someone saw him ematiated and neglected at a garage sale. For the past 4 weeks Jet has been getting good food and affection. He is not a scd dog.
Jet is terrified of men and will run and hide. Her husband feels terrible as he came home in reflective work vet and Jet ran in a room and wont even go outside. Poor boy. The owners will pay for his neuter. They feel Jet will blossom and deserves a real chance at healing in patient hands.

This is a courtesy post for the owners of sweet Hera, a 2 year old black shepherd mix in Puyallup WA.
Thee family is heartbroken but they need to rehome her. She is not yet spayed and would do best in a home with only Male dogs or as the only pet focus in the house.

Beautiful Hera is house broken but has accidents when anxious. She needs a homebody or retied couple. She will chases cats. No documentation but said to be seizure ESA trained. Thought to be greyhound (whippet), lab, and German shepherd.

WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THIS FACE. Are you looking for a handsome, intelligent companion? Here he is. He can be your devoted best friend for life. Come and meet him.
Cruizer is only three years old and he's looking for a best friend too. He's smart and can be trained very easily. He loves to go for walks and is a gentleman and very well leash trained. He also knows how to sit on command. He's crate trained too, if necessary. He hasn't been around children yet. He lives with adults and two other dogs. He gets along beautifully with one of the dogs but recently the senior dog has not been accepting him. Cruizer wants to be friends but the older dog won't accept him. The owners have decided to keep the older senior and re home Cruizer. They want him to have a loving home where he can be family. He is not a SCD dog but we are courtesy posting this sweet boy.

This is beautiful Ben.
Sadly his owner passed away in January of this year.
Diana is his current caregiver. She wants to find him a forever home as she has dogs of her own, his brother and a busy schedule.

Ben is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He is looking for a loving place to live out his golden years. This kind woman is keeping his 15 year old brother George.
Ben likes to explore in the fenced yard and will help you with gardening...He loves food and can help himself to food if not secured and put away. ☺️
Ben is fine around cats. He is only 7 years old, and a beautiful golden lab mix weighing about 60lbs. He gets along with other animals, loves to play, is Housebroken, pulls with excitement on a leash, sleeps at your feet inside and knows basic commands.

Hello~
We have decided to feature one of our dogs we have available for adoption, once a month.
Our first dog is named Jazzi. She is a Black Lab/Pitbull mix.
She's affectionate, friendly, funny, gentle and playful. Here is a little more about Jazzi.
Hi my name is Jazzi. I'm only about 5 years old and I love life! I'm joyful and always happy to see you. There is something very dear and special about me. When you meet me you'll understand what I mean.
I love, love to give kisses and I'm very smart. I love playing with stuffed toys.

CAR???? Lets go!!!! I LOVE going for rides in the car. I'm a great friend and devoted companion. I'm looking for my forever family.
I just need a family who will love me and I will show you what an amazing dog I am.
I need a fenced yard that I can't jump over. I'm very energetic. That's how I
ended up in my foster mom's yard. I was so nice, she offered to foster me.
We have reduced Jazzi's adoption donation to $100.

COPE is LOVE. He is one of the most gentle, loving, easy going dogs I've ever met. He's a wonderful, delightful, happy go lucky dog.
He's a very sweet, gentle soul and loves people. He loves companionship. He has an extreme sense of gentleness around his people.
He was a devoted companion to his master through a serious illness but now he can no longer be cared for by his owner. Cope is dog friendly; in fact, he does very well with one or two other dogs. He's also good with children. He's not very big. Only weighs 45-50 pounds. He's only about 7 and would make a good service/companion dog. He walks very well on a leash. He doesn't
like being left alone so he would do best with another dog friend or a stay at home person.

We would love to continue, however we need your help in order to keep moving forward in our efforts. We are at a crossroad and need to decide if we are able to continue. Rescuing loving dogs and placing them in your homes has been very rewarding. But we can't do it alone or without your help! TOGETHER we can continue to be effective in change that is really needed in these unpredictable times. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP; We invite you to our open house. We will be discussing new ideas and brainstorming on how to include volunteer positions and offer free training. It is your thoughts, concerns and voices that we want to hear. Please bring a friend or even your neighbor, so we can continue to make a difference together. We need more hands with open hearts.

I'm located in Tacoma. I do better in a home with no kids or other animals. I do not like to be picked up and will give clear signals I am uncomfortable" and will nip. " I have lived with other animals (cat, dogs) but I really prefer a quieter environment. I love to go on long walks, and walk very well on a leash but I am afraid of loud noises so I have to be redirected. I would love to be in a home that is quiet, maybe 1 person or a couple and will be able to get to know me ..., someone who is very loving and gentle. " He is 6yrs old and neutered.

She is a fun-loving, energetic, and affectionate dog who is looking for a special someone to give
her a forever home.
She's a great listener and will be your loyal companion. She is very curious about everything and

Cedar would do best in a home that wants to show her good manners, she’s a fast learner and
very eager to please .

Second Chance Dogs was founded by a group of 5 determined women who, for years, independently helped "in need" dogs transform from their current situations. In July, 2009, we joined forces and started Second Chance Dogs, a non-profit organization in an effort to help more dogs in more ways. Each director brings to the organization their own special gift, wand when combined, allows Second Chance Dogs to offer a variety of services to help rehabilitate and find loving homes for these dogs.
