Hi all, we got a line on the Randy Oliver Golden West Queens if you are in need.

If you’re not familiar, we’re part of a network of beekeepers, including members from various bee clubs as well as independent beekeepers in the community, who team up a few times each season to place bulk queen orders. By ordering together, we’re able to get a significant discount from a highly reputable supplier up north. We don’t make a profit from this however, we do add a small fee to cover shipping, gas, and delivery - for full transparency.

Queens will come marked in a three hole cage with attendants, $39 each, all in.

LAST DAY TO ORDER IS NEXT THURSDAY, JUNE 12.

DM me here or even better, text me (Raquel) 310.251.6177 to order.

Pickup options will be as follows:

Lake Elsinore - Thurs when they arrive
Murrieta - Friday early morning
Irvine - Friday early afternoon
Long Beach - Friday mid afternoon
West LA - Saturday 9-4
Other locations may be added in LA County depending on need.

We can either do Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. COD is available if you’ve ordered from us before, or I know you. 😉

More info on Golden West can be found here: https://www.ohbees.com/products/golden-west-queens-randy-oliver

Please note: Ordering JUST a queen will NOT eventually provide you with a colony of honeybees. Please grab yourself a copy of “Beekeeping for Dummies” and/or “The Backyard Beekeeper” by Kim Flottum, and join a beekeeping club to get started.

Hi all, it’s that time again! We are making our first bulk group order for queens this season, if you are in need.

If you are unfamiliar, we are members of multiple bee club associations, and other non-member beekeepers in the community, that get together to purchase queens in bulk a few times a season, in order to get a great discount from a highly reputable supplier up north. We don’t profit off of this however, we do throw in a couple bucks charge for shipping, gas money/delivery - full disclosure.

Currently you can choose from either Italian, Saskatraz or Carniolan, and you are not limited to picking just one breed. Mix it up if you want! They will come marked, $39 each, all in.

I’ll try to get a page up on the website to order but for now, DM me here or text me (Raquel) 310.251.6177 to order.

As of today we are told they could be available as soon as 1-2 weeks, weather permitting. Just keep in mind that this isn’t a guaranteed date yet and it might be 3-4 weeks, but we want to start getting the orders organized. I’ll update as news comes in.

Regardless of which week they arrive, the pickup options will be as follows:

Diamond Bar - Thurs when they arrive
Murrieta - Friday early morning
Irvine - Friday early afternoon
Long Beach - Friday mid afternoon
West LA - Saturday 9-4

We can either do Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. COD is available if you’ve ordered from us before, or I know you. 😉

Another wonderful workshop is in the books! We came, we saw, we made candles, lip balms, propolis tinctures, whipped honey, and bars of wax from the wax cappings we rendered.

We also learned about the wonderful benefits of pollen and propolis while lunching on George’s famous sandwiches, and everyone took home a bag of the goodies we made.

Thank you all for coming out and participating, your support means the world to us!

Thank you to Teresa Krzewski, Jon and Natalie Vesely, and Sandy Tabako for contributing your vast knowledge to this workshop.

…and as ALWAYS, thank you to Little Parrot Farm for whom without, none of this would be possible. 🫶🏼

P.S. The vials you see at the end are Buddha’s Hands Lemonchello. A little sneak peek at an upcoming workshop we’re cooking up! 🤭 Stay tuned…

Apiary Build at Little Parrot Farm, another week of accomplishments. The posts are set for the deck cover and crossbeams were attached. We got a great deal on rocking chairs from Facebook Marketplace that will go on the deck. One hive from the old location was brought back from their off property vacay, welcome back home! …and we started setting the footers for the deck. Hustling and it’s so much fun!! 🐝
