🌟 Meet Dr. Maria Barahona! 🌟

We’re so excited to welcome Dr. Barahona to our HBAH family! 🐾

Dr. Barahona is a dedicated veterinarian who earned her degree from St. George’s University in Grenada and completed her clinical training at Purdue University. She also studied at Berry College in Rome, GA. Originally from Honduras and raised in the U.S., she’s fluent in both English and Spanish—helping us connect with even more of our amazing pet parents! 🇭🇳🇺🇸

At home, Dr. B is a proud pet mom to a full house of fur babies: a Shih Tzu named Rocky 🐶, a large mixed-breed pup named Miel 🐕, and four wonderful cats—Vincent, Zelda, Holt, and Loogey 🐱.

Be sure to give her a warm welcome the next time you visit—she can’t wait to meet you and your pets! 💙

🌟 Welcome Dr. Dasari to Our Team! 🐾

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Dasari to our hospital! Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals, his passion for veterinary medicine started early. He earned his DVM in 1998 from the College of Veterinary Science in Hyderabad, India, and later completed a clinical residency at Oklahoma State University in 2004.

With 25 years of experience, Dr. Dasari has performed thousands of surgeries and has a special interest in preventive dental care, dermatology, internal medicine, cardiology, senior pet care, soft tissue surgery, and exotic pets. He has practiced in Virginia, Florida, and Atlanta before joining us in 2025.

Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, pickleball, cricket, DIY projects, and spending time with his family and cat, Tigger. Join us in giving him a warm welcome! 🐶🐱💙
