๐ฏ๐พ Wellness Wednesday: Every House Cat Has a Little Tiger Inside!
Today is International Tiger Day, a reminder that our beloved cats share more with their wild cousins than you might think. While your feline may spend more time napping in a sunny window than stalking prey in the jungle, they still have the instinctsโand health needsโof a natural hunter.
Whether you have a playful kitten, a curious indoor cat, or a seasoned senior, preventive care is the key to helping them live a long, healthy life.
Here are a few ways to keep your "house tiger" thriving:
๐ฑ Schedule regular wellness exams. Cats are experts at hiding illness, so routine checkups help us detect health concerns early.
๐ฆท Don't overlook dental health. Dental disease is one of the most common conditions we see in cats and can affect their overall health.
๐ฆ Keep parasite prevention up to date. Even indoor cats can be exposed to fleas, mosquitoes, and other parasites.
โ๏ธ Maintain a healthy weight. Obesity can increase the risk of diabetes, arthritis, and other chronic health conditions.
๐ง Encourage enrichment. Puzzle feeders, climbing trees, scratching posts, and interactive play help keep cats mentally and physically healthy.
๐ July Wellness Reminder!
There's still time to take advantage of our July Wellness Specials before they end. If your cat isn't microchipped, now is a great time to protect them with our FREE Microchip Implantation offer (registration fee applies). We also have savings available on preventive care to help keep your feline friend protected all year long.
Every tiger deserves a safe place to call homeโand every house cat deserves the best preventive care possible.
โค๏ธ Double tap if your house tiger rules the roost!
